Spaceballs is a comedy CLASSIC-anything Mel Brooks touched was GOLD. Blazing Saddles, another comedy masterpiece!

Nope, Mel Brooks movies never did anything for me. Humorous but not laugh out loud funny.

Sorry dude, but Alias was a terrible show that was only popular because Jennifer Garner was in it. Spaceballs is a friggin' masterpiece. In 20 years do you really think anybody will really remember Alias? Nope. But people will definitely not only remember Spaceballs, they still be watching it.

Spaceballs was stupid, but yet, it was funny also. Aww, missing John Candy now.

When I first saw Spaceballs, I thought it was dumb. But I watched it again after all three Star Wars "prequels" came out, and I changed my mind. It is funny. Not Young Frankenstein funny, but up there.

If Brooks released Spaceballs right after the first Star Wars "prequel" came out, would the other two have been made? The ridicule might have saved us.

I wish we had been spared those horrid prequels...

Not many movies are laugh out loud funny. Get a movie that makes you laugh so hard that it makes you cry, then that movie (ex. "Liar Liar") deserves an Oscar. "Spaceballs" was humorous in a stupid way.

Spaceballs was high art as far as comedy spoofs go.
A bit too much on the dirty side though.
(Something which I hate about Mel Brooks movies.)
John Candy shined as Mog, and who can forget Pizza The Hutt?

When Spaceballs was in the movie theaters,
loads of hot chicks loved the movie and came out with smiles on their faces. So it must have had something going for it.

This Vartan guy needs to ditch the Mike Nesmith Monkee hat.
