'Celeb Apprentice' Contestant Ordered to Prison

3/14/2011 12:26 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Richard Hatch -- the guy who won $1 million on Season 1 of "Survivor" -- has been ordered to surrender to U.S. marshals by NOON today to begin a 9-month prison sentence for not paying taxes on the prize money.

Hatch had filed a request to delay his surrender until he could get his business affairs in order ... but earlier today, the judge shot down the request ... which means Hatch better get his ass over to his nearest marshals station ASAP.

Hatch is currently a contestant on "Celebrity Apprentice" -- and though most of the season has already been taped ... the finale will be LIVE in a couple of months.

So, if by chance ... Hatch makes it all the way to the final 2 ... Trump better make sure he can broadcast from behind bars!

UPDATE: Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal David Remington tells us Hatch has officially surrendered to authorities.

They don't do automatic withholding of taxes?!? I thought all prizes (or employers) did that.

There Goes My Show

Glad to see this douchy little man going to jail - he is the kind of guy that needs to have the feces kicked out of him weekly just for good measure. He is a mean, arrogant and disgusting person. Regarding, David Cassidy, he should have spoke up for himself at the firing ceremony. Being all "nice guy" and quiet will get you fired every time. Just like Lisa Rinna last night. I would have been all over that "lady part" Star Jones and that has been Retirement Community Saturday Night Entertainer Dionne Warwick.

Prison couldn't happen to a bigger s***bag. I hope he gets "adopted" by a VERY large fellow prisoner...

He also asked the judge to delay prison because he just found out that he has a child he did not know about. He must be a switch-hitter.

The State of California might deal out 'Celebrity Justice' but for a federal crime it's 'Hardball' Hatch has already served several years and still they are not letting him off the hook. He should realize by now that he needs to cave in and pay up because they aren't going away.

I thought he already served his time for this, is this something new?

And think of all the shmucks who will vote for Trump if he runs.

Why TF was Hatch there when he bitch-slapped Khloe Kardashian for a DUI that she was complying with?

Hatch had already served time for refusing to pay taxes on his "Survivor" winnings. He was released from prison, and still didn't pay up. Now Hatch is returning to prison where he belongs. He is a criminal and a useless bastard.
