Vanessa Hudgens

Sits Down With FBI

3/17/2011 1:37 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Law enforcement sources confirm with TMZ ... it was none other than the FBI that met with Vanessa Hudgens yesterday about the nude photos that were hacked from her Gmail account.

The FBI went to Vanessa's lawyer's office to meet with her in Century City, CA.  The meeting lasted more than an hour and agents got info that we're told leads to one individual who may have hacked 50 A-list celebs.

We're told Scarlett Johansson was hacked by the same individual, who leads a ring of hackers.

The pic (above) shows Vanessa leaving her lawyer's office after the FBI chitchat.

Can you imagine sitting with the FBI and bitching about your nude photos being exposed on the internetz? How do those detectives even keep a straight face.

Look people. If you haven't figured it out by's a little suggestion. If you don't want nude photos of yourself plastered all over the internet, don't take them in the first place AND don't email them!

What a joke - photos are supposed to be shared.
If you don't want others to see than don't strike a pose with your legs wide open.

My gmail accounts are always being hacked into. I wouldn't trust my life with one of those accounts. She shouldn't have been sending pictures through that account.

It would seem to me that if you did not want people looking at naked photos of yourself you should have never posed for them. I think the problem here is she isn't getting any cash out of this so call in the cops.

How stupid can you be to keep nude photos of yourself on free email account? Next she would move them to Facebook only for "friends" to see. I would not be surprised.

I'm with everyone that says that if you don't want naked pics of yourself floating around, don't take them. And if you do, don't complain when someone takes them.

Yes, hacking is a crime but also if I remember correctly she was 17 at the time so technically it's child pornography. And I bet the reason the FBI is involved is because this is the 3rd time these photos have leaked and each leak coincides with Vanessa doing publicity for a movie that's coming out. Some one has it out for her but I noticed that after the 2nd leak so they're a little late to the party. I'm sure the case will be handed down to a lesser agency eventually.

And oh yeah... give the girl a God damn break. Seriously, lay off... she has learned her lesson and teenage girls were taking nude photos way before Vanessa Hudgens and they'll still be dumb years from now. It's a fact of life.

I hope they nail this person. It's one thing if you make sex tapes and WANT them to be released; it's quite another if you are caught in the buff completely unaware. Or if you took photos strictly for private use and someone stole them. Celebs deserve privacy too and it's really creepy to steal someone's private nude photos and to distribute them against the celeb's wishes.

The ever popular playing dumb. It's always personal photos.

Don't take the photo's in the first place. That simple.

YES, the FBI WOULD be involved in her particular case as she and/or her rep have stated that the pictures were taken "years ago". Since she only turned 21 last December, these pictures could be considered child pornography. Next stop, Vivid Entertainment. Sucio.

so sad the FBI thakes the time to tend to this idiots who obviously don't learn about taking naked pics or making sex tapes. They are just mad they are not getting paid for them, not that their hoochies are showing. Please, i wonder how long does the FBI respond to a case outside hollywood!!! Sickening!!!

She's the one who spread her legs for the camera and then put them in her gmail account, so why should I or anyone else have any sympathy for her or cut her a break? She's costing California tax payers money now because of the "big" investigation. What a joke.

I AM STUNNED THE FBI IS INVOLVED IN THIS!!! My true story. I was scammed by a company who helped themselves to my Master Card account for several months which did not involve a great deal of money. Like a dummy, I failed to examine my statements, carefully. To this day, I have no idea how they obtained my account number because I rarely charge my purchases. I contacted the company, via certified mail, with no response. I contacted several agencies for help and finally, contacted the FBI in my city. I even asked them to refer me to another agency if they were unable to help. Guess what? They DID NOT RESPOND.
I am aware the FBI has more important issues to deal with like looking after the emotional comfort of Vanessa, but, I was dumb enough to think scamming my account and stealing money was illegal. Evidently, not. To clarify, I am referring ONLY to the FBI in my city. I am confident many hundreds have been scammed and still with no solution to this enormous problem. GOOD LUCK, EVERYONE, and KEEP a CLOSE EYE.
