Charlie Sheen Rake$ It In On Tour

3/18/2011 12:00 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Charlie Sheen will make $7 million dollars on his "Charlie Sheen LIVE: My Violent Torpedo of Truth" tour ... TMZ has learned.

0317_charlie_sheen_tour

Sources connected with the concert tour tell us ... the deal is for Charlie to perform on 21 dates. He'll get 85% of the profits, with Live Nation getting the remaining 15%.  Charlie's cut is projected to average between $250,000 - $275,000 for each show.

And there's more ... Charlie will get additional $$$ for after-parties and merchandising with 200,000 pieces of merchandise already shipped out for the show.

In all, we're told Charlie will pull in $7 million in a month.

The show will last 1 hour and 15 minutes.  It's essentially Charlie doing comedy in a chair, so the overhead is minimal.

And since the shows are selling out off of Charlie's Twitter, there are no advertising costs.

"Two and a Half" what?

People are really PAYING to listen to this waste of space?
Watching Charlie sit in a chair and rant because it is impossible for him to stand up?

Sideshow freak. Sad.

Yes But what happened if the first show tanks? People will want their money back. LOL
I can't imagine this guy putting on any kind of solo stage show worth seeing. If his rants are all he has why bother paying to see that?

The unenlightened among you just don't get it. $7.5 million in one month is WINNING™. Single-handedly increasing Twitter's market value by AT LEAST $1.5 BILLION (per the NY Times) is WINNING™. Getting paid $50k PER Tweet (again per the NY Times) is WINNING™. Telling all the Hollywood d-o-u-c-h-e bags to s-u-c-k his left n-u-t is WINNING™.

Charlie Sheen™ is an great actor; his current shtick is merely ACTING on a whole new stage. He's charting his own course with a new art form I call "Social Theatre™" or maybe better named "Social Media Theatre™" -- experimenting in unbound ways with his societal interactions to observe what the results will be. Mr. Sheen is right now creating, from nothing, a NEW form of theatre and entertainment based on the new world canvas.

He's thrown out the existing rulebook of life in general, and entertainment in particular; he's sharp and creative enough to understand the current rules don't often apply anymore in our new world -- he's a pioneer testing HIS ideas to create a brand new model as to how things really word. I applaud him for doing so.

Ignoring his publicist's advice then letting him run for the hills (Beverly Hills that is) was seminal event for Charlie -- by disintermediating traditional Hollywood, unbound Charlie was now totally and completely calling his OWN shots. He became a media Supernova -- bigger overnight, it seems than god herself. Any sane publicist would NEVER have allowed Charlie to experiment like he did but it turns out Charlie was right and they were all wrong.

I suspect he'll succeed much more often than he fails if he stays away from drugs and booze. No doubt, Charlie has had a few missteps along the way -- but the bottom line is this: For as long as he lives, he will have a HUGE audience now for whatever he does . . .

He is our perfect modern-day mix of Buddha, Vincent Van Gogh, Nostradamus, Galileo, Moses, George Washington, Jesus, Shakespeare, Martin Luther, Marting Luther King, Gandhi, The Dali Lama, Lenny Bruce, Mother Teresa, Sigmund Freud, General MacArthur, Socrates, Alexander the Great, Picasso, and of course, Scott T. Charlie is only donating $1 for each ticket sold.
How about 1/2 the profits? You don't need the money. You're set for life with all of the residuals you'll get from 2 1/2 Men. Come on, stop focusing on yourself and grow up!!

Sounds like his 'winning' lifestyle has cost him, a lot. He's making a fraction of what he would have if he kept his mouth shut. My guess is his live show will be an assemblage of blabber just like his web show. If we're lucky maybe his audience will take care of him when they find out they've been ripped off.

X Slapper

Charlie Sheen needs to do what he does best, promote Porn. There is even a new rapper on the WEB called Porn Rapper who
claims Charlie inspired his latest work. This artist known as Porn Rapper is even calling Rap A Porn a new music genre. I
have no doubt that Charlie has given a big boost to the Porn Industry and will become a iconoclast mogul in it's future. I
suggest the "My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option Show" tour DEBUT this title tract called X Slapper.
Party ON!

Hey Charlie! I think it's great that you are sober and such but people are buying tickets to your show without actually knowing what it is all about. Do you have a format or you just going to wing it. Soon as your first show is complete the media will have a frenzy with it. Then we will all know what it is. Don't count your chickens before they hatch. You need a back up plan. I cannot see future sell outs for you after the first show.
