I get that the ultra rich can afford these large mansions. What I don't get is why on Earth a single mom of one would even WANT a home that size. Why? It's ludicrous. Same for Tiger. He lives along for God's sake, why does he need a 5K square foot mansion?

I think Elin showed dignity and class in a very trying time. And I also got the feeling that she really loved her husband and didn't marry him for the money. She remained silent as well as supportive towards Tiger, as anyone with a brain could see when she went to his therapy sessions for him. You didn't see her going on talk shows whining about her life or going out to the clubs, showing her ass either.

Bottom line is that HE SCREWED UP ROYALLY, not her. He gave his ex mistress 10mil to keep her mouth shut and she gave him nothing but trouble while blabbing to the media the whole time.

And, in terms of that house, those on here that want to say she shouldn't buy something that big for only 3 people....what are you saying about Tiger? That man lives alone and he has many homes that are even larger than her house.

I think this has more to do with people siding with Tiger, more than anything, and folks just plain jealous that they are struggling while others are pissing money away. It almost seems that someone is showing off when they buy digs like this, but rest assured, Elin didn't ask for the home to be advertised to the world.
