Mel Gibson Out at a Nightclub (Yes, Really)

Of all the places you would think our photogs would spot Mel Gibson on a Saturday night, darting out of Colony Nightclub in Hollywood would have to be the last.

It's no contest ... definitely the most surprising sighting of the weekend.

Harvey Levin/TMZ... is really missing the Gibson/Ox saga.

What's next Harv, from the TMZ staff....Oh my God Mel Gibson sneezed.

Why shouldn't he go out to a nightclub if he wants to? He can afford it. He didn't cause a ruckus. Why the hell not? Just stay away from the money hungry Russian woman or she'll try blame you for something else. Ugh.

Great PR team, Mel. You might want to try being seen with your kids (any 8 of them) instead of a nightclub.

Mel doesn't use his children for publicity. As a good father, he PROTECTS them from publicity when they are minors and lets them live their own lives when they are grown.

Dang man, I wish he were a hiker, a camper, a backpacker..... get him out on the trails, away from cigarettes, booze, woman, and let him just muscle it out with nature and God surrounding him.... leave the "manmade" world and it's illusions behind for a while... and all the vultures who like to make a living picking at your wounds before they've barely even had time to scab over. Enough already.

That's a great suggestion for the man in recovery from his nasty ordeal. But as far as I understand this is not the Hollywood style which is a sorry thing because there are so many opportunities for a healthy lifestyle in CA! Hopefully, I am going to visit a friend soon and I'm gonna explore all of them :)

You are correct Sir, even if "Team Mel" are too blind to see the truth.

Hellnurse is a real piece of work BTW. In one short comment she...

1) Gives 55 yr old Mel a plausible "good guy" excuse for doing some weekend clubbing with the kiddies.

2) Further tries to aggrandizes Mel's image as one who is attending a charity event when he's not.

3) Spamming TMZ after the fact, just for extra publicity about the "Colony for the Red Cross Benefit". Can't help yourself huh? Got to milk those charity events for all the publicity they're worth, even after they're over, eh Colony club?

lol

It's all about perception. Whether Mel, a recovering alcohlic, was drinking or not is a moot point. His judgment in going to a nightclub at this time shows his poor decision-making continues. Here's a novel idea...why not be seen out with some of those eight kids he has.

I doubt that Mel Gibson cares what your tunnel-vision perception is. He does not "use" his children. And recovering alcoholics can have a social life as they choose. Mel's son-in-law is a musician. Do you think he hasn't gone to see Kenny play in venues where alcohol is served?

We all have a good idea about what you are based upon your blogs gutsygirl. Wag a caustic tongue and you will hear from others dear. BTW, quaint comment about behavior and predictioning for the future. You do realize this applies to you?
People do not always fit your myopic mold and have the ability to change particularly when they have the support they need to change. Guess you want to see someone in the mud? Try Oksana dear her time is yet to come.

When I was in Germany I was amazed that dogs went everywhere with their owners, restaurants, clubs etc. They treat them as part of the family and not just a pet.

correct angelika466. Dogs are with you, a partner in the land...it connects everyone...hard to say in short sentences but..it is a different world-perception and a good one.

Allow me TMZ. You need to rewrite this story:

Mel Gibson Alive (Yes, Really)

Of all the places you would think our photogs would spot Mel Gibson on a Saturday night, walking out of the Colony Nightclub in Hollywood would have be the last. Why? Because we thought Gibson was dead. At least we've tried our damnedest to kill him. Yet, there he was at the Colony Club giving our stammering (possibly drunk) prepubescent "reporter" his best "eff off you peon" face. Mel Gibson is alive and well... breathing and possibly farting. Stop the presses.

It's no contest... this is definitely the lamest story TMZ could scrape off the sidewalk this weekend.

@ Tell, post 106:

Great rewrite. I posted earlier about the photog maybe being in the club by the way he stuttered and mumbled.

Also, this is the weekend staff. Obviously inexperienced.

I haven't seen a dog on a restaurant, bar, or coffee shop table ever- when doggies wait outside for their human, also usually well behaved to say the least...
