Charlie Sheen -- Chicago, Do Or Die

4/3/2011 2:50 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Charlie Sheen will learn tonight whether or not his departure from "Two and a Half Men" was a good career turn or a disaster as he performs his second show -- this time in Chicago.

Charlie Sheen Chicago
A rep for tells TMZ with the rest of the tour already not selling well -- they have between 200-300 seats available per show -- tonight's performance could send the rest of the tour into a tailspin.

And staffers at several ticket agencies tell us there has been a rapid rise in the number of people trying to unload their tickets since last night's disastrous performance.

Either way, we'll be there and we will tell you how it all goes down ... as it happens.

Anyone who bought a ticket and expected something a normal person could understand, is an idiot.

Either Chicago is going to be worse, or the audience will have pity on him.

We'll have to wait and see.

Most people attending Sheen's event bought tickets to see a train wreck in progress. I don't know why they're complaining because they got what they paid for. The schmuck is falling apart in front of them and their main complaint is it's simply not entertaining enough or that a total breakdown isn't happening as quickly as they'd like. Just goes to show that a real life unraveling of a person is much less of a venue draw as a professionally choreographed act. As far as I'm concerned there shouldn't be any refunds issued regardless of whether the act goes on or not.

How will Charlie Sheen handle failure?
Alcohol? Drugs? Anger? Violence? Homocide? Mass Murder? Or Suicide?
All of the above?

I noticed YouTube took down ALL the vids from last nights show...guess they don't want future losers to see what they wasted their money on.

I find it absolutely ridiculous how people are booing Sheen and wanting their money back. What hypocrisy...? They all went to the show only because there was hype around Sheen and his recent antics. He was never a stand-up comic nor claimed to be. He's doing his own thing.

People thought that they'd buy a ticket and show off to their friends and hope to just sit there and watch a grown man make a fool of himself... And now the way he executes his 'act of foolishness' is not to the audiences liking.

They complain about Sheen going on rants during the show, yet that's all people have been watching or listening for the past weeks.

Well played Sheen! And if the tour does bomb, at least you proved something for a brief period in history... people always love and believe the hype until it puts a hole in their pockets.

One of the best posts I have read so far. Bravo.
I'll take it to another topic, if you don't mind. LOL

It is sad that people will pay their hard earned money to a guy who is going to waste it on prostitutes and drugs instead of his family or any kind of charity. Everyone around him who is encouraging and supporting him should be ashamed of themselves! He needs help and prayers!

Charlie Charlie Charlie...

You bet wrong, and now you are hopefully seeing the light. Admit your foolish ways and try to get your job back. Rating will go thru thr friggin ROOF! You can even keep your freeloading pornstar housemates.

It's time to get back to doing what you do best. And CLEARLY that's not 'WINNING'.

Ksis & Raymond,

Have read every current "Charlie Sheen" related post here at TMZ - including yours. I have something to say to each/both of you based on (at least some of) what you have written here today.

My views, FWIW:

1. As a self-styled underdog, folk hero, leader, messiah, rebel with a cause, etc. Charlie Sheen does not deserve your admiration nor your loyalty and certainly not your emulation.

2. In theory, Charlie's show could certainly be salvaged albeit with difficulty given the tour schedule. However, in practice the show will not be salvaged due to the nature of Charlie's limitations (i.e. not having the ego strength to work with professionals who will give him regular constructive criticism etc.)

3. The failure of the tour - whenever/however it comes - could well be a blessing in disguise for Charlie. As long as he feels that he is in control and WINNING he will never profit from the valuable lessons that life has to offer US ALL.

Now, I am putting both of you on my metaphorical spam blocker list. I won't read anything else you have to write - and I certainly won't be making any responses to either of you. Best of luck.
