Charlie Sheen in NYC -- From Good to Bad

4/9/2011 11:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Charlie Sheen cruised into Radio City Music Hall tonight sporting a New York Yankees hat and shirt -- but his Big Apple debut went sour fast.

Sheen took the stage around 8:37 PM ET to a semi-standing ovation. The crowd was mostly on his side ... but booed him when he said he quit drugs. Security tossed out a few hecklers early on.

Charlie invited "Two and a Half Men" creator Chuck Lorre to join him on stage at Radio City for Sunday night's show to "work this s**t out. Of course I want my job back man!"

Our sources connected to "Men" tell us producers will never let Sheen back on the show. Sorry, Charlie.

Sheen told barely coherent stories about the different hotels he stayed in, his incident at the plaza, locking himself in an airplane bathroom with a seven-gram cocaine rock, and how he once performed CPR on a model in a heroin coma. Who hasn't?

But by the end, Charlie had lost the crowd. The show ended abruptly -- roughly 30 minutes shorter than Sheen's shows in Ohio -- to a mix of boos and cheers ... but the boos carried the night.

Charlie's closer -- "I love you New York ... you're the best crowd ever. Well, some of you."

On his way out, Charlie was met by several fans and autograph seekers, but he seemed focused on just getting out of there.

I [heart] New York. I had high hopes the NYers wouldn't put up with his rip-off show like the sheep that Chicago and Cleveland proved themselves to be. Fingers crossed that NY comes through.

Please don't get your hopes up. As I've said here many times before, its a big city, they only need a very small percentage of fools to fill that venue. Doesn't necessarily reflect badly on NY whatever happens. The best way to evaluate what's happening with the tour is to check the stats on the betting odds and the ticket values.

That said, it would be gratifying if NY did come through :-).

And hey man! What kind of limp weenie are you so afraid of hecklers?

You stand up in front of people, it kinda goes with the territory.

They show Charlie wearing a hat and t-shirt with Yankee logos on front. Bet he has the Mets logo on the backs.

Charlie Sheen Invites Chuck Lorre to Join Him at Next Show

The Holloywood Reporter

"Of course, I want my job back so you guys can keep watching the best f**king sitcom in the world,” Sheen tells audience members at his NYC show Friday.

At his first Radio City Music Hall show Friday, Charlie Sheen invited Two and a Half Men co-creator Chuck Lorre to join him on stage for his next NYC show Sunday night.

"Of course, I want my job back so you guys can keep watching the best f**king sitcom in the world,” he told the audience.

Sheen started the show about 30 minutes late.

Like he’s done in previous shows, he told the audience about his early showbiz memories and a coke-fueled flight to San Francisco with actor Nic Cage.

He also shared his version of what happened at the Plaza Hotel in NYC last fall (he was accused of trashing his suite with an adult film star).

Among the audience members: The Real Housewives of New York star Kelly Bensimon, who told THR: "It's obviously a publicity tour because he wants his show back, but I'm confused. I'm not a doctor, but I think he's playing us."

At one point in the show, a shirtless guy and a wannabe “goddess” raced down the aisle and got hauled off by bouncers.

Radio City show organizers had posted a sign at the venue stating that all hecklers will be removed.

westboro is awsome

Ok losers time for a breakdown. Anybody that bought a ticket deserves what you get. He already has your money. He already bought a house with your money. The joke is on you. Now he removes hecklers so either like him and feed his nasty personality or you will be escorted out. You bought tickets not knowing what the show would be like. How dumb are you? You got taken by an admitted lover of crack cocaine. You have paid to here him whine. He could do a show and not say a word and still get your money. Apparently thousands of people in New York have money to burn. Good for you. I hope your daughter goes to the show and does Charlie just to piss you off. Just wait until he goes to the club. He will have tons of women there. Maybe your wife will be there? I hope so. The poor taste of Charlie fans/losers is hilarious. Please keep throwing money at him. He is begging for his job back now. Who would hire him? He has never been a comedian. He blandly says his lines and believes them. 2 1/2 men will go on without him and if they get the best writers ratings will go up. Charlie never made that show. He was just there wearing goofy shirts and saying stale jokes with a laugh track.

Dear #22 ---

You are my hero! You *nailed* it with your comment:

<<<>>>>

You are so, so, so, so right on . . . and depending on how tonight turns out w/ the govt shutdown, maybe we should add the military to that list. So many people in dire need, yet *this* knucle-dragger continues to be in the news?!?!?!?!?!
