Sheen in Connecticut -- Can't Get Worse, Right?

4/10/2011 10:45 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Charlie Sheen took the stage in Connecticut Saturday night with nowhere to go but up after last night's NYC disaster. Check out our live recap below.

0322_charlie_sheen_tmz_bn_2
8:02 PM ET -- As usual, Charlie takes the stage and plays to the audience via sports. He mentions UCONN's recent championship and the crowd goes wild.

8:10 PM ET
-- After getting booed the night before for telling people he wasn't doing drugs anymore, tonight he is encouraging the crowd to smoke pot. Go with what you know, right?

8:13 PM ET -- Someone just threw a "Two and a Half Men" shirt on stage. Do you think that person had the shirt handy or went out and bought one special just to throw at Charlie?

8:16 PM ET -- As for the crowd tonight, it's pretty packed and thus far the crowd has been pretty pumped and there has been no booing to speak of. Fingers crossed.

8:19 PM ET -- Charlie is saying that he got fired from "Men" for "having too much fun." We think Warner Bros. might see things differently.

8:22 PM ET -- Charlie has repeated his go-to move of throwing his shirt in the crowd.

8:26 PM ET -- In another repeat move, Charlie is now talking smack about Radio City Music Hall. A carpenter doesn't blame his tools.

8:37 PM ET -- A fan just asked -- um, how do we put this delicately? -- how many times he ... "finishes" in a day. He said at least once a day.

8:47 PM ET -- Charlie just called this show the best one so far. Not saying much.

8:53 PM ET -- Surreal moment just went down. A guy got kicked out by security, but Sheen had him brought back in. He then had the guy on stage and he played a song with his harmonica and the crowd loved it.

9:00 PM ET
-- Show's over. By all accounts, things went much better tonight than they did in NYC. The crowd was chanting "F**K NYC" as they left, but they could have just been bitter Red Sox fans. Good night!

I still can't believe people are wasting their money to go see this mentally ill person. It would be cheaper and more enjoyable to go to a movie, out for dinner etc. and would last longer than an hour! Did people really pay hundreds of dollars to see an hour show?? People you've been had!

Hoo boy, now I really can't wait until tomorrow to see how he's received at Radio City Music Hall again. "Fvck NYC?" Well, at least he's laid off Detroit, but still... harsh... especially when his sorry rear is gonna be back there tomorrow night.

Wait! Do you think that, in his fogged up mind, he FORGOT where he's going to be tomorrow??
:D

With all of the rules for Charlie's shows and the extra security that's been hired, he's probably sitting back thinking he can now say or do whatever he wants to. Some warlock lol he has to make sure everything is sealed up tight before he shoots off his mouth. He better make sure they only have plastic there again or I'm afraid he'd probably get hurt.

Were it not for the fact that the money wasted on enabling this poor, deluded sod could be better spent helping countless charities, I'd be glad that they are still paying to see him. I mean, really, where else are we going to find such terrific entertainment for FREE in the comfort of our own homes?

Well, I s'pose that there's a lot of other things I could be doing that would be more funny, but still... I'm enjoying every second of his meltdown in a totally uncharitable, distinctly inhumane fashion. The worst part is that I'm fairly unrepentant about it too.

Whoa, one hour with the whacked out warlock?

Glad they all survived, I was worried for a minute. Chuckles might have said something worthwhile!

Bet that was the most expensive harmonica concert on the east coast.

Chaps, I thought you were kidding about the tranny porn. Charlie made a porn star nervous. That's bad.

Yeah, and consider the other related aspect of the story - he paid her $75,000 to STAY with him (for four months). Then SHE dumped HIM. Seems like that's the story of his life - and contrary to his claims (ha ha) to pay for women/sex partners to LEAVE - its seems more that he pays for them to STAY. Even being paid at that rate - plus the "status" of being with a Hollywood Celeb - staying with Charlie is simply not worth it for most people it seems.

I fear you may be right, Muppet. Still, I have every confidence that the management - of either the venue or the 'star' - will have thought of that eventuality. My bet would be that there will be much more security tomorrow night than there was last night.

Tomorrow he's going to try to get the crowd to say "F*** Connecticut." He thinks he's playing divide and conquer.

Well, let's hope, for his sake, that they're all too blasted to remember that he dissed them in CT, and that he even has TIME to get them to return the favor. It could be ugly otherwise, that's for sure.
