Charlie Sheen

Persona Non Grata at 'Men'

4/13/2011 2:00 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

There are reports out today that Charlie Sheen might come back to "Two and a Half Men."  TMZ sources directly connected to the production of the show insist ... Charlie will NEVER be invited back.

Two and a Half Men
One report suggests CBS honcho Les Moonves has been putting pressure on Warner Bros. to take Charlie back.  "Absolutely false," say our sources.  Moonves has not even weighed in.

Charlie has been almost pleading for his job back, even making the pitch during his show.  And behind the scenes Charlie's people have been making calls, but Warner Bros. has closed the book on Charlie.

As for the future of "Two and a Half Men", no decisions have been made on what to do with the show.  Warner Bros. has until May 18, when CBS announces its fall lineup.

Stay tuned  ...

I thought that Mike dude, from TMZ interviewed Sheenus, and they were acting like buds.
Please, is this TMZ siding with the bigger bucks? What happened to siding with the little guy (Charlie vs CHUCK LORRE AND GODS AT WARNER BROS).
As badly as Sheenus sounds, he does have the fortitude to do something he's never done, like the stage act. Harvey Levin did the same thing by recording that song. We all want to see success in someone, sadly there seems to be great pleasure in seeing them fall. What if TMZ went belly up, and harvey was on hollywood blvd, begging for coins- would we all laugh at him? post vids on youtube? sadly some would, i wouldn't because i know that he would try to regroup. Just like Conan did with his show on TBS, like sheen is doing on the stage.. ahh f**k it. i'm having a bad day.
i hope Charlie Sheen completely rocks it, builds an empire, a huge f**king empire, so he can crush all the ryan ceecrests and chuck lorres. The joy that peope get out of humiliating people who have fallen, is depressing at times.

CBS needs to put business (which is what they are there for) before pride and get on with putting Two and a Half Men back on TV...WITH Charlie Sheen! Charlie Sheen has been exactly who he is for years, and they have had no problem looking the other way while he has brought them millions. They need to grow up, get over it, and put him back to work because guess what CBS.....he IS winning!

It's great watching this jerk grovel and beg to try and get his old job back. His desperation is so transparent. Sorry, Charlie, you incinerated that bridge. Time to focus on your new business of hawking "Duh, Winning" T-shirts.

real deal

If Charlie was actually viewed by the industry as that big of a talent and a draw to a show, then it really wouldn't matter that he is off TAHM. One might think that any network would just jump at the opportunity to get him on a show. Any show. Warlock magic and all that. If he had any "star power" the job offers would be pouring in; but they're not because he's not. So, all there is for him to do is hope WB changes its mind.

Pauly D is a bigger star than Charlie Sheen right now. Probably easier to work with too. He has a better chance of being on TAHM than Charlie at this point.

Book another tour Charlie; you'll have the time.

For those who say how crazy, manic, insane he is. This is a part of the interview he did last night. If anyone finds the whole piece online it would be appreciated.
He sounds and looks INCREDIBLY normal, SANE, cool, calm and collected. And where is the begging?? He confirms WHY he is sueing WB. Because they can't justify his termination.
There is a part called "Sheen Talks About Syndication Pay".

Charlie brought this on himself and I'm hoping they can continue on with the show, if not then cancel it. I do feel bad for the rest of the cast and crew but hopefully they can move on and get work. Since the show has been closed down this long they probably have moved on to something else anyway and they have Charlie to thank for all of this.

Charlie can continue on with his one man tour and take it overseas when he's through with the states and live over there, start a whole new life with his porn girls.

I don't care for Chuck Lorre at all - wouldn't want to work with him and other actors/actresses have had their difficulties with him, so I sympathize w/Charlie in that regard. Having said that, the show should go back on the air w/Charlie because not only is he an excellent actor who never missed his mark, but for the employment of the rest of the cast and crew as well. I think Charlie was made the scapegoat because Lorre wanted to focus on his other 2 shows, so used that NY episode re trashing the hotel room as his way out, from writing further for the show. I think he threw Charlie under the bus for that. CBS has some issues. Look at how they handled that whole Jay Leno/Conan thing.

THEY need to grow up?????Please, that is the funniest thing I've read on here. If Charlie is really WINNING at what he is doing now, then why is he continually asking for his job back???
If Charlie does go back to work on TAHM, then I guess that would be a win for him by getting his job back BUT that is definitely where the winning part of his life would end. He definitely is not winning at anything that has real value in life. There's more to life than money.

Get a Nose Job, please!!!

The three biggest Duds in Hollywood:
Charlie Sheen for being a whining, crazy, Moron Egotist.
Lindsay Lohan for being a lying thief with 8 mug shots.
Kevin Federline for expecting his FIFTH child. He hasn't had a job in years. Is Britney going to support this child, too?
Know what they all have in common?
None of them graduated from High School.

Charlie keeps talking about how some kind of deal is being made to get him back on, but he is the ONLY person doing this.

Nobody will deal with a guy who verbally tears his bosses to shreds AND has a $100 million lawsuit against them.

If Charlie could tell the truth he would say he is scared he will be blacklisted and end up like some tool on Celebrity Rehab.

People under estimate the power of Les Moonves. Not only will he get Charlie back on Two and a Half Men, he will find Sheen's lost watch and convince him that it was found through Chuck Lorre's hard work alone. It's about the money. Two and a half men makes the network a lot of money. When it stops making them money, the network will cancel it. Dollah, dollah bills y'all!

Sheen pulled the same crap that other actors did. The attitude of without me there would be no show, holding out for more money and so on is nothing new. They got fired as well.

Farrah Fawcett (Charlies Angels) career went no where. The show continued for a few more seasons and got cancelled.

Suzanne Sommers (Three's Company) the same thing.

Shelly Long (Cheer's) her career went nowhere, (probally the most exception to the rule. Kirsty Alley replaced Long and the show went on for another 7 seasons.

Rosanne Barr, not fired but was still horrible to work with and again cancelled. Career went nowhere.

David Caruso, NYPD Blue, (It's still known as pulling a Caruso)career tanked. The TV show did fine without him.

Charlie Sheen replaced Michael J. Fox (Spin City) because of his Parkingsons illness not because of Fox's ego and not holding out for more money. That show lasted a few more seasons and got cancelled.

The problem is that CBS was not Charlie's employers. WB were. And unfortunately WB is for some reason so far up Lorre's butt, that they can see through his nostrils.

CBS is not putting pride before business, Charlie did and he is nowhere near winning.

There is no way on this planet, CBS or ANY business would fire a person who is making THEM MILLIONS OF DOLLARS unless that person has made it virtually impossible for anyone to work with him/her.

The bosses probably did look the other way for almost 8 years because Charlie could party with his booze, drugs and women on his days off and straightened up when it was time to go back to work and do his job really well. At that time his private life didn't stop him from doing his job so his bosses had no reason to say anything to Charlie.

Evidently all that partying over the years had taken a toll on his body and as he got older he couldn't cut it anymore.

When he was going to work for the last year or so he was probably hung over as hell, flubbing his lines and who knows what else....NOW the bosses had to step in and say something to him about his private life because it was causing Charlie to mess up on the job and costing them money. All I can say is his actions on the job must have gotten really bad if they had to fire him.

A lot of people lose their jobs like this. We don't hear about it on the news because they are not high profile people.
