Judge in Sheen Custody Case: 'Questions of Abuse'

4/19/2011 2:00 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

The judge in the Charlie Sheen/Brooke Mueller custody war just threw the media out of the courtroom, explaining there were sensitive "questions of abuse" in the case.

Judge Hank Goldberg did not explain the nature of the abuse allegations, but made it clear the issues would be discussed and that's why he closed the courtroom.

TMZ broke the story ... Charlie and Brooke each want sole custody of twins Bob and Max.

It sounds like Charlie made a big mistake with this move. All the issues that lawyers were trying to keep out of court with an out of court agreement are now going in front of a judge.

Here is a test for Chuckles. Ask him if he's willing to give up the rest of his tour to stay home and take care of the boys. I kind of doubt he's willing to part with the money he's taking from fools.

charlie didnt make a big mistake trust me if this was anytime he should go for full custody of these kids and have a chances to get them it's now because brooke violated her part of the custody agreement and im sure if his lawyer thought it was a mistake he would of kept charlie out of the court today. trust me those lawyers know way more then we do

TMZ, how about we also talk about how, a few 100 people paid for tickets for the DC show which is at 8pm eastern time, and that it takes roughly around 4-6 hours and that it is not 1:07pm in DC, if he left LAX now on a private jet, he would make it around 5-7pm....now lets be serious, I highly doubt he is going to make the trip back, and if he does, I have a feeling this is going to be one of the worst shows on his stop...

I think the reason they arent talking about the show tonight is only the 100 people who paid for the tickets care about the show the other 99% of people care about this court hearing. sorry it sucks but its life his kids are more important then one show or any show. he's already got your money make yall can get refunds

What a sick and pathetic pair!! Too bad they had kids!! They should never get custody and the boys should be adopted into a good healthy home!!!

Caligirl,
Where did you hear that? No one seems to be reporting anything of the sort.

bbrown, I doubt it. There's also the things he's been saying about his exes on tour. No doubt Brooke's lawyers have collected every public, crazy rant he's made plus his conviction of domestic violence against Brooke and other threats. That can all come into court now.

I don't care what either of these two losers do with their life but they have no right to inflict their stupidity on their children. Neither should have them until they can proove they can be decent people for at least a year. They are both too selfish to live a better life in exchange for the joy of being a parent. Drugs, whores, ............give me a break. Neither are good role models.

KUDOS TO JUDGE GOLDBERG! He is not going to permit anyone to make a mockery out of his courtroom, particularly, the two extremely low level people who refer to themselves as "parents" of two beautiful, innocent children who are being used as pawns. The so-called "mother" wants the children for child support to feed her habit and the "father" wants the children to cut off child support. If only Judge Goldberg would throw the worthless parents behind bars for a while, these precious children would have some kind of normal life for a change. One can only hope!
