Lindsay Lohan Sentenced to JAIL!!!

4/22/2011 8:25 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Judge Stephanie Sautner just threw the book at Lindsay Lohan for her probation violation, sentencing her to 120 days in county jail!!!

Lindsay Lohan Jail

Lindsay has been remanded into custody and taken to the basement of the courthouse for booking.  Lindsay's lawyer has said she'll appeal, which means Lindsay is entitled to post bail.

Lohan was also ordered to complete 480 hours of community service -- 360 of those hours must be performed at the Downtown Women's Center, so Lindsay can see how needy women have to live.  The remaining 120 hours will be served at the L.A. County morgue.

Judge Sautner explained that Lindsay should have called the store and notified the owners about the necklace sooner.  She waited several weeks and returned the necklace after finding out the cops were about to raid her house.

Sautner seemed influenced by the surveillance video, which she saw for the first time in court today.  Sautner agreed with Danette Meyers, who argued Lindsay used her friend Patrick as a decoy to distract the clerk.

Awesome! That isn't nearly enough time, though. Wonder when she'll be out or what they'll pull to get her out?

However, I heard one of the staff members at the CA jail (the jail Lilo went to before - and will be going to again) previously state they only make their prisoners do a mere 10% of their jail sentence...

So that means Lindsay will get out in twelve frigan days!!

She'll serve a few weeks and that will be that. She knows it. 120 days is a sentence without bite. Just like last time. She's learning NOTHING from these shortened jail sentences beyond the realization that the court's mandates really shouldn't be taken all that seriously.

Fair sentence, Lindsay provided no explanation of why she didn't return the necklace to the store and displayed belligerence by not contacting the store's owner to rectify the situation. She'll eat humble pie by doing community service. I'm no fan of her in jail because I think she has mental issues but she'll be let out early and then she'll do real work. She's been to the morgue before though, so I don't know how big that will impact her.

Iknow she will skate on almost all the jail time since it's county. But there is no way out of the community service, is there?

So how much time will Lindsay actually spend in jail?I am glad she is going but with her history, she always gets out before time is actually served, due to overcrowding and what-not.

Hell, I guess there's no better place to commit a crime than in CA, since they claim they only make their inmates serve 10% of their sentence!

Wth kind of deterrent is that?!
