Mike Epps

SERVED at Comedy Show

FLIPS OUT

5/10/2011 11:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

"Hangover" star Mike Epps went BALLISTIC on a woman who served him with a lawsuit during a comedy performance in Texas last week -- calling her a "white b*tch" and telling her to "suck my d*ck."051011_mike_epps_v2_still

It all went down at the Verizon Theater in Grand Prairie ... while Mike was in the middle of his set, a process server approached the stage and served him with a lawsuit stemming from an altercation inside of a Detroit nightclub in December.

Mike looked down and said, "White b*tch just threw some papers up on the mother f*cking stage ... b*tch, f*ck you."

Mike then admitted participating in the nightclub brawl ... saying, "This is from when I whooped that n*gga's ass in Detroit."

Mike continued to berate the process server as she made her way towards the exit ... saying, "B*tch, I don't give a f*ck ... suck my d*ck."

As TMZ first reported, a photographer sued Epps, claiming the actor unleashed a "brutal beating" on him inside the Key Club in Detroit. The photog also claims members of Epps' entourage fired several gunshots at him outside the venue.

This is not "reverse" racism. It's just RACISM. Idiots.

Not that I like Epps or anything but why do they serve you in public places like that? Just because it easiest to reach you? What she couldn't do it after the show? Or right after he's done? Thats kind of a lot to do to someone in general. Handing them legal do***ents like that. I guess thats life.

Far Gone

Reverse Racism? Have you guys ever heard of Lisa Lampanelli or Jeffery Ross from Comedy Central's Celebrity Roast Show? These two white comedians consistently include tons of racially insensitive and potentially offensive material into their acts. Nearly all of Lisa Lampanelli’s act is based upon negative stereotypical beliefs about blacks and other minorities. I have not heard Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson call for the boycott of either of these comedians or the Comedy Central Network which airs a great deal of their material. Therefore, I believe it is quite disingenuous and hypocritical for the majority of posters on this board to suggest that if a white comedian says something racial, that person will automatically be publically ostracized by leaders in the black community. This is such a naive premise and it is simply not true.

Has anyone here seen the Comedy Central roast of Flavor Flav? It is highly racial and politically incorrect. However, it is very funny and no one seemed to be offended. I think everyone here should loosen up and not look to find racial discrepancies or racial equivalence in every situation. Granted, what mike Epps said was indeed insensitive, especially the bitch part. However race and skin color is the way in which American society has conditioned its' population to view and relate to one another. For example, in many situations I am referred to as "the black guy". This situation has happened throughout my years in high school, in college, and now in my everyday adult life. I have always found this classification to be racially insensitive and very unsettling. You see, to be referred to or first described by the color of your skin is a subconscious and societal marginalization that strips away the many layers of you as an individual and neatly classifies you as part of a homogenized and faceless group that can only be summarized by skin color and all of the associated stereotypes for better or for worse. This societal marginalization happens to people all races each and every day as in the case of Mike Epps and the process server. It is very unfair and hurtful. However, do I believe that anyone who uses race as way to describe an individual in the initial stages of meeting or seeing a person a racist? Of course not. This would exclude a great number of friends and coworkers alike. Therefore, I ask you to examine your own lives and determine whether or not you are guilty of ever using race or skin color as an initial descriptor of someone. If so, then the question must be asked...Are you any better than Mike Epps?

Its obvious people havent studied their black history to understand why it would be disrespectfull for a white person to talk to a black person in such a way. I dont agree with how he delt with the situation but he is a comedian people. How can you take him seriously!

This was an unfortunate act on his part, but realistically speakin, that's just the way he talks. If a black woman would have served him, she would have been a black bitch, sounds harsh, but its true, race played no part, mike epps was simply being disrespectful as always. He was definitley wrong and disprespectful, but rasict no. Talking **** is what comedy is in this day...:-(
