Alleged Baby Killer Casey Anthony -- The $68,000 Bill

5/26/2011 10:12 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Accused child murderer Casey Anthony is in more hot water with the feds -- the I.R.S. believes she failed to pay $68k in taxes back in 2008 ... the same year she allegedly killed her 2-year-old daughter.

TMZ obtained a tax lien filed against Anthony in Florida last week -- and according to the document, Casey never forked over $68,520 in federal taxes in 2008.

Casey was charged with first-degree murder the same year -- and is currently on trial in Orlando, FL ... facing the death penalty if convicted.

Calls to Casey's attorney were not immediately returned.

Uh....I think it took Bozo Baez (Casey's attorney) 8 years to pass the Bar if I remember correctly. He also went to a lowly law school and was second to last to graduate from his class. 8 years later he finally passed the bar. He is also a high school drop out who later married and divorced and skipped out on paying child support. He wrote several bad checks and had several bad debts in collections, and the Florida Bar would not permit him into the Bar association because of his conduct.

The guy is completely slimey. He's trying to make a name for himself with this case, but he doesn't realize that he is a laughing stock.

She's a deduction for her parents and wasn't earning taxable income for 2008. TMZ got bad info! Post the papers if you want to save your rep.

If you go to WFTV's website in Orlando, they have a copy of the tax lien in PDF. She does indeed owe taxes. You can also look it up on Oseolla's County records. It's there!

This is a legit story people. TMZ isn't falsely reporting anything. Go check it out for yourself at WFTV dot com.

She was assessed taxes on the $200,000 - $400,000 worth of photos that she sold in order to pay her lawyer, Jose Baez. She never filed a tax return on any of the money she made for the photos and video that she sold.

LOL, You people are crazy.

In 2008 Casey SOLD pictures of her baby Caylee Marie to ABC for the amount of 200,000 to PAY FOR HER DEFENSE.

Thats income. Thats an earning. You have to pay taxes... but of course, Casey knew nothing about having to pay taxes, or about responsibility.

AGAIN, She received the income from selling pictures of the daughter she murdered to ABC.

So glad to hear that news! Now if some dimwitted jurors louse up the verdict in his case, like they did in the OJ trial, the IRS can still put her in prison for their case against her, like they did with Capone. Hopefully, she'll end up just like Capone did, too. LOL Karma's a byotch!
