According to our sources, the coroner is expecting the results to be inconclusive and a cause of death will not be able to determined until toxicology results are in ... which take about 4-6 weeks.

Conaway passed away yesterday at the age of 60 after he had reportedly fallen into a coma earlier this month.

Personally, I loved Dr. Drew's take. Jeff didn't die of an overdose, he simply took too many pills and his body stopped working.

Bruno raises a good point... Whatever put him in the coma was most likely out of his system by the time he died, and testing other tissues (like hair, liver, ect) will simply show that he used prescription painkillers in the past.

Dr. Drew is a board certified Internal Medicine specialist. He has NO ... I repeat NO certification in psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, or addiction medicine. Just because Drew claims to be a psychiatrist or addiction specialist, and just because he talked his way into positions in psychiatry doesn't make him a board certified.

Don't believe me? www.abms.org It's the website for certification verification of any doctor in the country:

Physician Certification: David Drew Pinsky MD
Location: South Pasadena, CA (United States)
Certification: American Board of Internal Medicine
Internal Medicine - General (General indicates Primary Certificate)

Pinsky tweet: "He's in an induced coma...a Propofol drip."

Another source report - “The coma is needed to keep the patient from thrashing around, the source said.”

(later) " . tried to lighten coma (Propofol drip) . nothing there".

Could Jeff have suffered Propofol Infusion Syndrome?

PIS - A Rare Complication With Potentially Fatal Results

The syndrome is characterized by severe metabolic acidosis, hyperkalemia, lipemia, rhabdomyolysis, hepatomegaly, cardiac and renal failure. The following appear to be major risk factors for the development of these events: decreased oxygen delivery to tissues; serious neurological injury and/or sepsis; high dosages of one or more of the following pharmacological agents: vasoconstrictors, steroids, inotropes and/or prolonged, high-dose infusions of Propofol.

Sandy, you are entirely corrent! He has been wanting to die for the longest time and we DO treat out pets so much better than our animals. I have a plan that if I reach the piont Jeff was in for som long and still can't get relief from Dr's who claim to heal me. I will either save enough pills up or use my Baretta to go hopefully painlessly and quickly, tho maybe messily on the secod choice. You just reach a point where you don't want to be in pain any more!
