I've got to say i've seen quite a few presidential election campaigns in my lifetime, and i've NEVER seen a vice presidential running mate stab her own presidential candidate in the back like Sarah did, before the election was even over.

"Going rouge" on your own running mate for President, wow how patriotic of her. And quitting her job as Governor of Alaska to answer a higher calling as a high paid political pundit, now THAT's the hallmark of a TRUE American patriot! pfffft! lmao

What Ivy league school did Palin go to? Anyone know? Harvard? Yale?

Let's not forget why Sarah is REALLY at Rolling Thunder today. It's the high publicity kick off to her bus book tour/phony presidential run for profit and self aggrandizement!

It's really that simple. She doesn't give a f&ck about our veterans any more this year then she did last year, when she didn't attend, because she had nothing to promote at the time.

If you're going to make rude and incendiary remarks in regards to what someone is participating in, at least understand what the person is participating in.

Rolling Thunder began in 1987 as a demonstration to bring awareness to the plight of prisoners of war (POW) and to those missing in action (MIA). Rolling Thunder originated when four Vietnam Veterans, exercising the First Amendment "Right to Petition and Assemble", organized the first group of 2500 motorcycles to ride through the streets of Washington, DC. This first Rolling Thunder run was made in an attempt to petition the government to take responsibility for the soldiers that were abandoned after the Vietnam War ended.

Today over 250, 000 motorcycles ride during the Rolling Thunder Memorial Day weekend observance, held each year in our nation’s capital. Rolling Thunder has evolved to be not only a demonstration for the POW/MIA issue but also a demonstration of patriotism and respect for soldiers and veterans from all wars.

As for being invited to participate in the ride, anyone can participate in the ride. RT also exists to encourage American citizens to use their influence with representatives of the U.S. government to augment efforts to achieve the return of American POW/MIAs.
