Whitney Houston -- 30 Days of Rehab Ain't Enough!

6/4/2011 6:40 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Whitney Houston is voluntarily seeking additional treatment for drug and alcohol addiction ... TMZ has learned -- after completing a 30-day out-patient rehab program earlier this week.

Sources close to Whitney wouldn't elaborate on what the additional treatment entails -- but we're told the singer has hired a round-the-clock life coach to help keep her on track.

We're told Whitney personally decided to seek out treatment over a month ago as part of a longstanding recovery process -- entering the out-patient program completely on her own accord.

As one source put it, "She really wants it this time." So far, no word from Whitney's rep.

Houstons voice has been gone for years. That just didn't happen.

She looks like absolute crap. Her concerts have been booed, canceled, fans wanting their money back. Always a throat problem, not feeling well. No. She's wasted at Prince concerts, causing a scene. They don't want her to further embarrass herself.

It's her call.

Truly heartbreaking to watch Whitney go down hill. I thought she had one of the most powerful singing voices ever! She was amazing and very beautiful. People can blame Bobby Brown all they want to for Whitney's addictions but she was the one that put the drugs in her body! Noone can force you to do that!
I hope she is able to get off the drugs and then help her daughter. I'm afraid it's too late for her singing career though. Why do people always believe it won't happen to them when it comes to drugs? I'll never understand it.

I wonder if Prince paid for her rehab to keep her off of his tour. She's probably expecting someone to pay for her ass to stay there.

This woman blew a golden career and her all american image due to her wayward egotism and diva behavior. I couldn't be happier. The only one still enthralled by her is Oprah. All of her own fans turned away from her in disgust. She ripped them off on that money grab tour and couldn't care less.

Maybe she should forget about that comeback and live within her means because it's never going to happen. Even Vegas won't touch her now.

I hope the best for her. Battling addictions is never easy, especially for a person who has been on them for years. Bobby never forced her to take the drugs, she did that on her own, although he wasn't a good influence on her. I hope she stays clean and can start to sing again. At least she is trying to get her life straight. I guess seeing your daughter go down the road you traveled finally made her see the light.

Whitney, may God bless you to find the strength to keep going. Nothing is impossible for him, he will deliver you from the drugs and other substance.

Playing Devil's advocate, but from some of the comments... why does Bobby Brown hav eto be the blame. 1) Bobby once said Whitney introduce drugs to HIM and 2) If it was the other way around, she was/is a grown women and was able to make a choice. She chose to start using.
