Extremely Wealthy Dog Dies

6/9/2011 5:45 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

You ain't got Trouble no more, because Trouble -- one of the Richest dogs in the world -- is dead at 12.

0609_trouble
Leona Helmsley's famous dog inherited $12 million when the Queen of Mean died in 2007.  Although a judge slashed that amount to $2 million, which was placed in a trust, that was enough to provide the pooch with $8,000 a year for grooming, $1,200 for food and a full-time security guard -- something that became necessary after Trouble received dozens of death threats.

According to the New York Daily News, what remains in the trust will now go to the charitable trust Leona and her hubby left behind.  Turns out the dog's death was a secret for months -- she died in December, 2010.

Leona loved the dog more than many of her own flesh and blood. She cut several grandchildren out of her will entirely.

BTW, the doggie was cremated.

What kind of charitable trust? I'm betting on pets...just as well...I don't think Ms. Helmsley had many human friends.

It was so unfair that a judge rewrote the owner's Will and robbed this dog of 8 million. Looks like the jealous grand children secretly poisoned the poor creature. They must have been vile ungrateful low life people, thats why that lady had nothing to do with them RIP little fella.

This dog was robbed of $10 Million. It doesn't matter if the situation was frivolous or not. This was Ms. Helmsley's wishes and the will should never have been tampered with. It's horrible to think a dead person can be taken advantage of like this by greedy, opportunistic relatives and lawyers.

It is scary that a will can be tampered with. The dog was robbed of $8 million because it had no advocate, no one to fight for it's rights. I assume the greedy, opportunistic grand-children pocketed the 10 million? When someone dies, their instructions should be followed to the letter. This is not what Ms. Helmsley wanted but obviously she lost the power once she died.

Yeah, maybe Leona DID love the dog more than her own flesh and blood, but perhaps the dog also loved HER more than they did and treated her better than they did. If she cut some of her grandchildren out of her will, then she obviously wasn't very close to them. Perhaps the dog deserved the money more than they did. Being rich doesn't necessarily mean that your blood relatives are entitled to any of your money, especially if they don't treat you well.

By the way, TMZ, don't ever underestimate a person's relationship with their dog. Pets can become part of your family if you choose to think of them as such. You adopt them, you take care of them, you love them, they love you, they're loyal companions, and they're a part of your daily life for many years... and you're really surprised at why this woman thought so much of her dog?

Why should a stupid judge be allowed to over ride your wishes in a will? Then what use is it then? If you want to designate your money for ANYTHING.....it is your RIGHT. That judge is a ******* MORON.

May this vicious creature rot in hell with its poisonous
owner. I hope all dead tenants who died of frostbite for
lack heat kick her moldy ass for all eternity. She warehoused
apartments a froze out tenants so as not to give them an insiders
price when their buildings were co-opted. A pox on her, her
and anyone who carries her genes as well as the city who
allowed this.Die again and again bitch in hell!!!!!!!!!!!!1
**** your dog who was as evil as you.

an eye witness to your evil

P.S. can't wait to meet up with you in the afterlife and
shove my foot up your butt!
