Cops: Ryan Dunn Was VERY DRUNK During Crash

6/22/2011 10:55 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

"Jackass" star Ryan Dunn was extremely intoxicated at the time of his fatal crash Monday morning ... with a blood alcohol level of more than TWICE the legal limit ... this according to cops.

West Goshen Police Chief Michael Carroll told the Daily Local News ... Dunn's B.A.C. was .196 ... nearly two-and-a-half times the legal limit in Pennsylvania, which is .08.

Carroll added, "No other substances were found in his blood other than the alcohol."

As TMZ reported, Dunn and his passenger were killed when Dunn lost control of his Porsche, crashed in a wooded area and his car exploded in flames.

UPDATE: Now cops are saying Dunn was traveling between 132 and 140 MPH at the time of his crash.

Ryan Dunn and other young people abuse alcohol and illegal drugs. Their image is cool-live fast and die young. On the other hand, what do they have to look forward to if they live to old-age? Sadly, singer Glen Campbell who used alcohol and illegal drugs to fit in with an image is announcing today that he has been diagnosed with Alzheimer disease.

This is life, and these things happen. It could have been prevented very easily. With all that money whats a cab ride home. Luckily no one else was injured or killed. I feel bad for the family's as EVERYONE SHOULD! We all know what it's like to lose someone, and NO ONE DESERVES that pain. Ryan made a bad choice, Zach made one with him. Bam isn't looking for publicity off this! He's was just grieving as anyone would and fox news had to get the footage. I'm amazed he even gave an interview, as most would deny the media any words or footage at a time like that.

Prayers to both of these guys families and friends. No matter what-it is such a terrible tragedy. What is even more sad is that this happens to people everyday and no one even cares. But, a "famous" person dies and everyone is an expert on DUI's and skid marks saying that he pretty much deserved it. When people are this callous in society-we are all f^cked.

RYAN DUNN CONSUMED ALCOHOL AT A BAR.....THE BAR AND THE BARTENDER SHOULD HAVE A LIABILITY IN HIS DEATH...THE DRINKS THAT WERE SERVED TO HIM IMPAIRED HIS THINKING AND MOTOR SKILLS...I BELIEVE THE BAR SHOULD BE SUED BY HIS FAMILY....

OK - let's recap the "theories" of the blind loyalists (aks fellow J#$ka$$es) -

[1] He wasn't drunk - Roger Ebert is a fool.
[2] Look at the tire marks - he was swerving to hit something in the road
[3] Oh - now he is drunk but how can we prove he was even driving?

Face the facts - the population just decreased by one idiot. Search the public records in Chester County - pages and pages of citations - speeding, reckless driving, driving with a suspended license - not to mention the parking tickets that he ac***ulated monthly. This person obviously had no respect for his community, the law, and the responsibility for owning an automobile.

Sorry kids! A brain surgeon didn't die - a hero didn't die. A J.A. killed another human being!

What?? No comment from Bam?

One idiot (Dunn) dies going 130 mph drunk, then the other idiot (Bam) whines that it's Roger Ebert's fault!? I wish Bam had gotten a ride from Dunn -- or that he'd acted responsibly and stopped Dunn from driving.

A jackass truly = a jackass
only the strong survive this world and he was pretty weak.
Listen Bam, You act like a child in every way. You even grieve like a child. It's time to be a man. I think Steve-O finally gets it... talk to him.
