2) KRS-ONE - Definitely had the message but also gave direction
3) Rakim - Told the hood to get educated and protect our mind
4) Nas - The illest stories with a touch of wisdom
5) Biggie - The best rhythmic flow of all time
5A) Eminem - Metaphorically gifted with the anger of a black man
5B) Kanye - Probably the most purely talented guy out today
8) Jay Z - The blueprint for getting paid, but lacks depth
9) Mos Def - lyrically talented and one of the top deliveries
10) Lupe Fiasco - a stretch to most, but content is there
