Many years ago I told my dearest friend that I never felt like GWBush was my president. I didn't call him names, just stated the facts as I felt true. She didn't understand as she was a dyed in the wool GOP, and me? no...a dyed in the wool DEM. Today, she agrees that the world has changed dramatically in a very short time. Politics has become a sort of reality program. Civility has been replaced by shock value reporting. Is that good for the nation as a whole? I don't think so.
I was born in the 50's, educated in the 60's, so I think my vision of America is somewhat different than a lot of people. But how does decency not transcend the generations?
I think the argument of 1st right amendment to political correctness has been blurred.
I worry for my country.

If it's a Republican President or GOP Christian Conservative hopeful, you can call them: "stupid", "ignorant", "insane", "childlike", "immature", "petty", "irrational", "Nazi's", "baby-killers", "war-criminal", etc...in fact the worse term you use, the better.
