Casey Anthony Juror:

Ask Me Anything ... For a Price

7/6/2011 10:06 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

One of the jurors in the Casey Anthony trial has decided to go public with his side of the story -- but TMZ has learned, he's not talkin' ... unless the price is right ... and 5-figure offers are already pouring in.

0706-casey_launch_EX

A publicist for the unidentified juror is sending a letter to media outlets, claiming, "Our client -- a married, college-educated, 33-year-old white male with two young children -- is willing to consider granting one or more media interviews so long as the opportunities are paid."

We're told the juror has already received multiple offers from big news operations, including at least one major network.  Sources tell us ... the high offers are in the "mid 5-figures."

Paid interviews are a hazy moral territory for obvious reasons -- and the publicist, Rick French, admits, paying for sit-downs is "always a sticky subject and believe me, I understand the delicacy of this type of negotiation."

But French insists ... sticky or not, his client ain't budging -- "He will not entertain any offers that don't include compensation for a myriad of reasons."

I don't think this is bad at all. The shows are making money off the ratings of the show so why should a juror give a free interview. I'd do the same thing in his shoes.

How sick is this....just another blood sucking greedy s***bag looking to cash in on the death of that poor baby. Sickens me....

Jen Jen

I sort of understand, since they probably incurred hardships sitting on a sequestered jury for a lengthy amount of time. But it just doesn't seem right.

I certainly don't see why you would expect him to do it for free. He has 2 young kids, has spent all this time making nothing on the jury and you think it's unreasonable for him to charge for interviews? Please. You guys are just sore because this jury followed instruction and the law--if they did what you wanted it would have been the opposite. With no forensics what the hell do you expect? If you don't like it move to another country like Cuba or Russia or China. Really!! I mean you got what you wanted in the Peterson trial---now a totally innocent guy (except for being a two-timer) is sitting on death row--no forensics there. Yeah, alot of us including Gerragos KNOW who killed Lacey and it wasn't Scott!! But the judge there felt it was much more comfortable to let the media try that case and lynch Scott so the idiot went with that--not everyone is that unprofessional though!!

Harry you nutbrain---like it or not in this country you can't prosecute with no forensic evidence--we don't convict someone on assumptions alone--why can't you guys see that that is ALL we have here? Just because you THINK she did it---IS NOT ENOUGH!!! You must have proof!!!!

There is going to be a lot more contreversial verdicts in the future. Just see what happens when jurors find out they can profit of bad judgement.

It's illegal for the defendent to pay a juror for thier vote, but it sounds like its ok if the media does it.

Stupid...

Yes Bette, a video would have done it--or forensics prooving she did it--all the things you listed were too vague. Now in some trials--alot of them they allowed the media to try--that would have been enough which is why so many innocent people now sit in prison and on death row. Vague assumptions are not enough. How would you like it if one of your relatives was accused of killing someone because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and everyone assumed he was guilty yet you knew he was not? Be grateful that in this country IF the laws are followed we require solid forensic evidence to put a suspect to death!

It's called blood money. Profiting off the death of the 2 1/2 year old. Sick. Karma will come for him and the other jurors who have admitted "we know she is not innocent..."

There should be a son-of-sam sort of law for jurors that makes it illegal for them to profit from taking part in a case.

Those 12 jurors did not do their job. They sat through roughly 6 weeks of trial and didn't even bother to look at both sides presented. The vote on the 3rd count was initially 6 guilty, 6 not guilty. How on earth can you change someone's mind that quickly without going over the prosecution's case point by point? Had they done that, the defenses' arguments of an accident wouldn't hold water. Casey's behavior was evidence, and she was lying for a reason. The last thing that jury heard was the phone call from the jail and if that doesn't convince a jury Casey didn't care about her daughter and what kind of despicable "mother" she was, nothing would. Juror #3 said there was no evidence of her being a bad mother----WHAT!!!! Zanny the nanny wasn't something created when Caylee disappeared. She was created long before that as the defense stated. Is that normal behavior for a good mother? And where and who was Caylee with during those previous excuses Casey gave to her mother months before? This jury had to go out of their way to find her not guilty on the child abuse(3rd count). I think a fraud was committed by this jury and if there is anything I would be interested in hearing from them, it would be figuring out a way to charge them with it by their own stories. Then a new trial could be set for Ms. Anthony.

One more comment.......The prosecution in my opinion did an outstanding job of tying the entire case together for the jury in closing argument. I don't think it could have been done any better. Too bad those who were in a position to judge the facts, and there was plenty of evidence, were not mentally capable of understanding it. Next time a jury gets selected, let's at least have a test they can tie their shoes first!!

Serves you people right for making a circus out of this. Why shouldn't a juror receive hefty compensation for being sequestered for weeks on end? Juror compensation is **** and if you gossip-hogs want the juicy details to satisfy your own self-righteousness then you're gonna have to pay money for it.

To those of you who claim this juror is, "greedy", "disgusting", "a freak", etc. You are all greedy, disgusting freaks as well. If you were in his position, I not only think you would do the same, but I know, undoubtedly, that you certainly would; It would be absolutely moronic of you not to, and matter-of-factly, is a blatant lie to say you wouldn't. The opportunity to earn five to six figures for an interview is life-changing. There's a difference between capitalizing and extorting... and I believe this juror is simply capitalizing. Say what you will, but you know I'm right.

I have to agree with him/her. If I were in a position I would require payment. Like another writer mentioned, the networks are making a fortune from this trial. Get the money while the opportunity is there. I promise you, Casey Anthony will make a fortune off it. I hear Oprah calling already.
