All of you HATERS need to get over it and face the fact. The Prosecution had no solid Proof she did it,there whole case was based on speculation and cir****tantial evidence, they knew this when they went to trial. They took a gamble and lost.Get over it and move on with your lives.

Most here are only angry at Casey......I dont hear any comments about how the Prosecution screwed up...How they too were looking for fame and fortune...I saw the arrogance with these Prosecutors....saw that they really did not go to trail with any physical evidence..all cir****tantial ...nothing concret..only that a little girl is dead...and no one will tell the truth about what happened to her......Heard so many hearsays from them , but they couldnt prove anything at all....they went to court totally unprepared and between their crappy job and that evil (b) itch Nancy Grace...I can see why the Jury decided what it did.......All want to go by the law...and most times the law is just as screwed up as the suspect!

For jurors to say step forward now and say how sick they were over the decision and how they wanted to "put her away" is just SAD. They (the jurors) know there was enough to convict and they fail to do their "job

And this remark is foolish....there wasnt enough physical evidence to covict her....It is what is is...Casey Anthony in the eyes of the law is innocent...wheteher we like it or not!

So I guess if you want to kill your children move to Florida. Justice was not gotten for Caylee and she never even got a decent burial.

Since she is a self-proclaimed spiteful b**** everyone that testified against her better watch out I guess. are not forgotten by us though!!!!

I thought it over, and I believe Casey is in league with the devil.

I don't think we'll ever know exactly what happened. I think she probably did kill her daughter, or at least knows what happened (barring serious self-delusion, which is possible), but as far as I can see it hasn't been proven and I think if people judge things solely on opinion it is a slippery slope to mob rule. I blame the prosecution, police and others for that. I think the blame is diffuse and a bit less simplistic than shriller voices would have us believe.

Although I don't think someone with that degree of delusion or lies will ever, barring some kind of stark change, be free of trouble. She seems to be a very messed up person and I think in all probability she'll get in trouble for something else in the future, even if it's minor by comparison. Someone like that is trouble. But as it is a court found her innocent and I feel I have to defer to their judgement because I think lynch mobs are so 19th Century.

I'm surprised the jurors aren't standing outside waiting for Casey handing her the keys to the city. As another person said when they found out juror Jennifer Ford, who was interviewed last night by Terry Moran, had herself and her entire family treated to Disney World or Orlando from ABC News because they didn't want to say they paid her for an interview so they gave them a trip instead - "WE JUST LET A KILLER GO FREE - WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD"

Why Casey Anthony can Never be Retried Even If She Says "I Did It"?

Casey Anthony trial verdict has made a majority of those who have been following the trial gasp in shock. Casey Anthony, mother of the dead two-year-old Caylee Anthony, has been found not guilty of murder, aggravated child abuse, and aggravated manslaughter, but guilty of four misdemeanor counts of providing false information to a law enforcement officer.

While millions are stunned at the verdict and allege that the verdict wasn't fair, the fundamentals of the American judicial system centered on the concept of innocent until proven guilty, required more evidence than what was obtained against Casey.

And the worst thing is that Casey Anthony can never be retried for the murder of Caylee. Even if absolutely irrefutable evidence were to turn up or Anthony herself were to confess to the crime, the rule of double jeopardy applies. The rule of double jeopardy is a procedural defense that forbids a defendant from being tried again on the same or similar charges following a legitimate acquittal or conviction. The rule is designed to make sure the prosecution gets it right the first time.

If Casey were to tried again, she can plea that she had been legitimately acquitted by a court of the same offense, which sets out special reasons by which trial cannot go ahead. In many countries the guarantee against being "twice put in jeopardy" is a constitutional right; these include United States, Canada, Mexico, and India.

In fact, even if Casey chooses to make some money by confessing to her crime or write an OJ Simpson-style "If I Did It" type book nothing much can be done to convict her. Since Anthony was found not guilty, laws that prevent criminals from profiting from their crimes also do not apply. Casey Anthony can give paid interviews, pose for Playboy or simply tell everyone she killed her child, and the public will have to sit back and listen. Casey Anthony could potentially make millions of dollars in book, television and movie deals.
