Sammy - the reason that your president wasn't invited to the wedding was that it wasn't a state occasion. Where on earth do you get the idea that the English hate Americans - you're our closest ally. Also HM The Queen and our Royal Family generate far more income than they cost the British tax payer - I really think you need to get your facts straight before you comment on something you obviously have no idea about. And yes I'm British and do know what I'm talking about!

Thank you, Minnieminxx! I was about to go on and say the same thing. I am American but even I know the Royals generate a lot of income for your country by way of all their charity work and the fact their homes/castles are tourist attractions, etc.

In fact, I was really surprised to hear that they only cost the average citizen a couple pounds a year! Correct me if I am mistaken, though. And Sammy apparently doesn'*****ch the news much because it was REPEATEDLY covered in the news that NOT inviting the Obamas was absolutely not a snub to them...it just isn't expected because William is not next in line to the throne. That is why the Reagans DID go to Charles/Diana's wedding because he WAS the heir apparent. If Charles had been deceased, THEN the Obama's would have been invited.

Hey Harvey if the royals were to take in a Lakers game you would call it a basketball game. Perhaps you should get your hand out of the Lakers butt and cover the story right. @Nin and Ashley William does not have a ring! It's his choice, which he talked about with Kate. She was okay with it. Like Charles doesn't have a ring on his ring finger, it's under his signet ring. I'm not even sure he wore one for Diana.
