Bret Michaels' Super Cruise

Super Canceled

7/15/2011 5:30 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Fans of Bret Michaels will no longer be able to worship their rock god on the high seas in November ... because the singer's "Super Cruise" has officially been CANCELED!

0714-bret-michaels-canceled

The cruise was billed as a 4-day round-trip voyage out of Miami -- and Michaels promised to be "out and about" with the fans ... signing autographs, mingling and even guest bartending.

But Tuesday, fans received an official cancellation notice from the cruise company citing "lack of participation."

But Bret blames the whole thing on a "less-than-reputable promoter" -- who "feels he can take advantage of both artists and fans."

Michaels -- who is currently touring with Poison and Motley Crue -- explains, "I want to reassure everyone that I have went out of my way to try and make this the best fan cruise on the high seas ... Know that I am working hard to right this wrong."

Bret also ensures fans, "All money will be refunded to you."

I think the peak of Brett's comeback fame has passed. Poison was big in the 80s but it wasn't on par with U2, Madonna, or even Motely Crue for that matter. People forget these days but Motley Crue was the biggest selling hard rock/metal band of the 80s.

Like someone else said, if he didn't have his so-called "fiance" waiting on him at home a lot more fans (women) would be interested in going.

Yea just like he went "out of his way" to right his wrongs when he screwed over a local bar in Fort Smith, AR after two shows were sold out!! He's a washed up loser and continuously lets his fans down!! Zero respect left for this jackass!

There's a problem here

Bret? You're bald, my man. You look like a freaking fool with that ridiculous head gear and wig you wear, and pursing your lips and making finger puppets like you're a cool hipster. You're a bald old guy. Get over it. The cruise was probably canceled because you didn't have a lady under 40 signed on.

OH MY BRETT...get a damn clue! You never were and you never will be, despite your over inflated ego from the creepy Donald Trump show----you two remind me of each other... over inflated self worth, entirely oblivious of public perception.

Miami is the Cruise Capital of the World and thousands of people are coming to the Port of Miami every weekend.
Here you will have some tips before cruising.

Tips before Cruising from Port of Miami.

1- Compare fares between Ft Lauderdale Airport and Miami International Airport.
2- Choose well the date and arriving time to Ft Lauderdale Airport or to Miami Airport.
3 -What you should do if your luggage are not in your airplane.
4- What option you have for transportation from Ft Lauderdale Airport to Port of Miami or From Miami Airport to Port of Miami.
5- At what time you should arrive for check in to the cruise ship.
6- If you arrive early, what you could do around Port of Miami.
7- The best things you should do coming back from the cruise.

Nowadays the Ft Lauderdale Airport is getting business from Miami Airport because their services and flight fares. If you are coming to the Port of Miami, many times you can save enough money flying from Ft Lauderdale Airport. The ride from Ft Lauderdale Airport to Port of Miami usually takes 45 minutes.

Before you decide, the date and time to flight to get the cruise in Miami take on consideration that many flights are delay or reschedule and the cruise line is not responsible for you missing the cruise. Advise flight the day before your cruise or do flight early on the cruise day to have time for any inconvenience.

If your luggages are not in your plane, first approach to your airline representative and do a luggage claim, but do not wait for it because the airline is responsible to deliver your missing luggage to the ship. The worst thing that can happen to you is missing your cruise because you are late for the check in.

Well transportation options from Miami Airport to Port of Miami or from Miami Airport to Port of Miami are:
Taxis
Buses from the Cruises Lines
Shuttle companies.

Taxis are usually small for families coming to the Miami, they do not have much room for luggage, they are uncomfortable and if you forget something in it forget you miss it 95 % of the times. Their fare from Ft Lauderdale Airport to Port of Miami is around $75 and from Miami Airport is around $25.

The buses from Cruises Lines charges $29 per person from Ft Lauderdale Airport and $16 to $20 per person from Miami Airport to Port of Miami. These are big buses, usually more comfortable, but you have to wait because they should have a great among of passengers ready before departure and they are more expensive than others options.

The shuttles companies is a prefer option because they can accommodate per van between 10 to 14 passengers plus 2 or 3 pieces of luggage per passengers. In addition, you have a company tracking your fly and waiting for you at the airport. They have flat rate and if you miss something in the van 99% of the times, you get it back. From Ft Lauderdale Airport the fares are around $20 per person and from Miami Airport, the fares are around $10 per person. Discount for groups are available from this option.

The check in for the cruise is generally allowed after 11:00 AM and until around 3:30 PM.

If you arrive early the day of the cruise you have some options before check in, many people prefer staying at the Bayside Downtown Market Place because is by the Port of Miami entrance, you can eat meal, you can shopping or get a drink. You also can go to South Beach or to any Miami Mall.

Coming back from the cruise, first do not forget any of your belongs and second get in contact with your transportation provider, my recommendation give your transportation provider 2 calls to have them informed about your check out process, first when you get out of the ship and second before you get to customs. Do not set up a pick up time because nobody knows when you are going to be ready to pick up coming out of a cruise.

Hope these Tips before Cruising from Port of Miami are helpful for you.

Feel free to write any question or recommendation.
