Really?????

Nearly 6 months? Really..... How about almost 8 months. This shooting happened January 8, 2011. Please do your research before you try to act like some sort of Journalist.

So shooting someone in the head still won't keep them from spending other people's money like drunken sailors? This country is doomed to socialist misery.

If you ask me, EVERYONE in Congress is brain damaged and cannot tell the difference between reality or insanity. So what's the big deal about Giffords being there?

But, did she read the entire bill before voting? Yay America, we're spending money that we don't have.

Ms. Giffords & her husband have turned into media hounds in Texas... they have a news crew out for her every action. The sad thing is that there are so many people who have been seriously injured overseas, in service to our country & not only are they ignored - they don't get all the expensive perks that she does, like private planes & entire medical teams everytime she wants to go somewhere. Those who were injured serving in the military deserve that & much, much more - but it's all spent on her, so her husband can run for office. A sad waste of money.

Whatever you think of the politics, I'm proud of this woman and she has accomplished. She looks REALLY GOOD considering what she's been through. As for the debt ceiling bill, that's an entirely different situation.

Now THAT'S an Amazing American. Regardless of politial affiliations, that took some big red, white, and blue balls to WALK in after such a horrific event. Right-on, Congresswoman!

HOPEFULLY THE REPUBLICANS WILL STOP TALKING ABOUT "SECOND AMENDMENT REMEDIES" IN THE FUTURE. THEY CAN GET SOMEONE KILLED......

It is wonderful to see her healing she's been through an absolutely horrible ordeal, but--why won't they let her continue to heal? Why are they putting her in this postion, she is still clearly easily overwhelmed & not ready for this type of overstimulation. Shame on her husband!!
