What he did was dumb, no doubt, but does he have other charges from before or something because (well, maybe it's just where I live) but a year in jail for vandalism seems really harsh. Is that the norm for LA? (Serious question)... or is because of WHAT he vandalized? I've seen normal people and celebs get busted doing MUCH MUCH worse and get nothing more than a slap on the wrist and a few months probation.
