Michael Jackson

Lawsuit Accuses Doctor

of Fueling MJ's Addiction

8/4/2011 8:15 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

0804_arnie_mj_EX2
Dr. Arnold Klein
provided serious drugs to Michael Jackson, which left the singer so out of it ... he couldn't even stand up straight ... this according to a new lawsuit obtained by TMZ.

In the lawsuit, filed by Klein's former assistant and confidant Jason Pfeiffer -- it is alleged "Throughout 2009, Michael was a frequent patient of Klein." The lawsuit continues, "Several times, Klein told Pfeiffer to help Michael down to the car because Michael was too drugged up and disoriented to stand on his own."

Pfeiffer says he voiced his concern for Michael's "safety" -- because he and Klein's nurses "were worried that Michael was being 'overmedicated' by Klein." Pfeiffer says Klein simply told him to "keep his mouth shut."

And there's more -- Pfeiffer claims Klein tried to sneak Michael prescription muscle relaxers in 2009 by writing a prescription in Pfeiffer's name.  Pfeiffer claims he refused to participate in the scheme.

Pfeiffer also claims in the suit ... sometime around October 2008, Klein was contacted by Michael Jackson, who told the doc he "needed 'to get out of a court appearance' and needed a doctor's note."

According to the suit, Klein told Michael he would take care of it and issued a note saying MJ was suffering from a Staph Infection ... based on a fabricated test.

Klein's treatment of MJ has been questioned in the past -- TMZ broke the story ... Klein injected Michael with 51 Demerol injections in the 3 months before Jackson died. Klein has always maintained that he treated Michael in accordance with the highest medical standards.

Pfeiffer claims he was wrongfully terminated by Klein -- and in the suit, filed Wednesday in Klein's ongoing bankruptcy case, Pfeiffer alleges that Klein forced him to help round up gay sex partners for Klein, including prostitutes and homeless people.

Pfeiffer also claims he would have to help "prepare" Klein for sexual encounters -- adding, "Klein required that Pfeiffer wash Klein's groin."

Pfeiffer -- who has stated in the past that he was Michael Jackson's gay lover -- says he suffers from severe emotional problems as a result of Klein's treatment -- and is suing for unspecified damages.

UPDATE: A lawyer for Klein tells TMZ, "Dr. Klein is one of the most esteemed and respected dermatologists in his profession in the country.  This counterclaim is totally unfounded, and frankly it's garbage.  The claims in Dr. Klein's lawsuit are very serious, and we're taking them all the way."

speaking of D.R. is she even involved with her children ???
only photos i've seen is K.J. with the kids...
_______________________________________________

Why would she be involved? She said she had no interest in being a mother and had those children for Michael as a gift to him because he really wanted to be a father. And once he passed away the family was worried she would try and get them, however she made it known through her lawyers that what she wanted was to continue getting whatever monetary deal Michael had promised/set up for her. I do recall her getting some type of visitation rights, however it has been reported that she has only seen the children once.

You know it is funny how everybody wants to blame somebody else for their problems. Michael Jackson was a grown adult that could make his own choices. There is no way that this Doctor would force drugs down him. Michael Jackson took them willingly. People need to just except the fact that Michael Jackson was a drug addict and was addicted to them and stop trying to put the blame on somebody else.... If I go out there and I decide to rob a store that would not be anybody else fault but my own. The only person to blame would be me. Get off the trying to make Michael Jackson this great person and blaming everybody else for what he CHOSE to do!!!!!!!

At what point is it that the addiction takes over and you are no longer in your right mind? Does an enabling doctor not bare any responsibility in letting a patient's addiction that he created fuel his greed, not to mention his Hippocratic oath to do no harm? No one would say that MJ didn't play a part, however he is dead and has paid the ultimate price. Why shouldn't the doctor(s) pay as well?

Is anyone watching TMZ live? We know what side they are on. Hmm. I guess if Klein (allegedly) gave Mj the Demerol, than its ok for Murray to
1). load michael up with propofol and benzos.
2). Than walk out of the room and not have MJ monitored.
3). Don't tell emts and hospital what you gave him.

Hmm, I guess that is alright. What a bunch of __________

Sigh....Here we GROAN again....
Why, why, why is this story coming up now? Could it be that Murray's defense team FINALLY realize that there's NO silver lining around the clouds hanging over his head. That they finally GET that he has to PAY for his actions--regardless of who else was involved. He administered the Propofol and Benzos, and now he has to pay the consequences....
And TMZ will soon realize that they've hitched their star to the wrong vehicle. Pfeiffer AND Klein are clearly a couple of SICK Puppies whose every grunt should NOT be publicized....
Anybody fooled by this latest ploy at tarnishing Michael's name in order to make Murray look innocent is out on that same ledge with his defense team...
I think they're going to need a BIGGER BOAT....

beg for safe sedative injections from a stupid, greedy drug dealer who refused to pay child support and lied just like his pal, the superstar.
then, expect the drug dealer to give you cpr as many times that you, the frail drugged mental midget could endure.
all for the lying fanatics and jacksons who couldn't be denied their concert dream.
why did the tabloid hater mj tell tmz that it was true that he'd do the jackson 5 concert? no doubt or thought about drug effects and health.

Unless Arnie injected Michael with the leathal dose of Propofol on 6/25/2009.....Murray is guilty of premeditated murder.

OFF TOPIC BUT "IMPORTANT"

No acts set for Michael Jackson tribute at ticket sales deadline
By Alan Duke, CNN
August 4, 2011 2:41 p.m. EDT

Los Angeles (CNN) -- A planned Michael Jackson tribute concert, supported by the late pop star's mother and four siblings, was in disarray Thursday amid family squabbling and the apparent failure of promoters to sign any big-name acts so far.
Tickets for the show, scheduled for Cardiff, Wales, in October, were to go on sale Thursday, but instead of providing a link for purchases the promoter's website asked fans to "Please Standby for further announcements."
The head of the British company promoting the concert promised last week it would "feature the world's most amazing music performers." The roster would be revealed online one act at a time over the next 10 days weeks, Global Live Events CEO Chris Hunt told reporters at a July 25 news conference.
"Everybody's in the midst of signing contracts so nothing can be announced until that happens," Juliette Harris, spokeswoman for Global Live Events, told CNN late Tuesday. She suggested an announcement would come Wednesday.
By Thursday, still no acts had been announced.
The problems started soon after brothers Marlon, Tito and Jackie, sister La Toya and family matriarch Katherine Jackson attended the "Michael Forever: The Tribute Concert" announcement at the Beverly Hills Hotel on July 25.
La Toya Jackson said it was "something that's spectacular" while the Jacksons' mother called it "a show fit for a king."
"If my son were here today, he would feel the same way," Katherine Jackson said.
"I know my brother would be very, very proud to see all the artists that he admired and respected so much coming together for this event," Tito Jackson said.
But an hour later, Jermaine and Randy Jackson, the only brothers not at the news conference, issued a sharply worded statement that reflected a deep division within the Jackson family over the show.
"We want to make clear that this does not reflect the position of the entire family," the two brothers said in a joint statement.
"While we wholeheartedly support the spirit of a tribute that honors our brother, we find it impossible to support an event that is due to take place during the criminal trial surrounding Michael's death."
While Hunt had hinted it could include a Jackson brothers reunion, the statement from Jermaine and Randy Jackson made it clear that would not happen.
"In light of this, we feel it is inappropriate to be involved with such an ill-timed event and its promoter, Global Live," Randy and Jermaine Jackson said.
Their statement said the idea of the October concert was presented to the entire family in April "as an idea already in its advanced stages." The decision to go ahead with it "disrespects opinions and wishes expressed in the strongest terms" by some members of the Jackson family, they said.
The Michael Jackson Fan Club agreed with the two brothers, issuing a similar statement.
"We share their concerns that this concert is taking place at a most inappropriate time when everyone's care and attention should be focused on the matter of justice. We believe that, as stated by Jermaine and Randy, the most important tribute we can give to Michael Jackson at this time is to seek justice in his name."
Jackson fans posted messages on the concert's Facebook page questioning ticket prices and the process for buying them.
Fans must place bids for a chance to buy a ticket. The higher their pledge to a charity, the better their chances of getting a good seat.
"The ticket system is so bad!! the higher you bid the better seats you get?? not every Michael fan is rich!!!" one fan posted on the "Michael Forever Tribute" Facebook page Thursday.
After several days of such negative posts, a link to the Facebook page was removed from the concert's website.
The October 8 show, in the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff, which seats 75,000 people, would be at least four hours long, Hunt said.
In addition to the other problems surrounding the event, a spokesman for Michael Jackson's estate said last week that the promoters never sought or obtained permission from the estate's executors to use late pop singer's name or image.
"The estate has not been contacted and is not involved with Global Live Events in the UK tribute concert announced today," spokesman Jim Bates told CNN.
