West Memphis 3

We're INNOCENT

8/19/2011 10:20 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

0819-WM3-news-conference-BN
The West Memphis 3 just pled "guilty" to murdering three boy scouts in 1993 -- but all three still insist ... they never committed the crime.

Damien Nichols, Jessie Misskelley, and Jason Baldwin appeared for the first time as free men in a news conference today after their court hearing -- in which they pled "guilty" to the murders in exchange for their freedom.

The WM3 accepted a bargain known as an "Alford Plea" -- a "guilty" plea where the defendants still assert their innocence, despite evidence to the contrary.

But Damien and Jessie set the record straight as soon as they introduced themselves -- claiming they served 18 years for a crime they "did not commit." Jason did not immediately comment.

Jason eventually said he did NOT want to take the deal at first -- because he wanted to fight for his innocence in court, no matter how long it took.

But ultimately Jason capitulated -- claiming he took the deal to save his friend Damien from death row.

I wonder if this was ever presented to Barry Scheck's "Innocence Project." I haven't heard of their involvement but they've managed to get 273 cases, many on death row exonerated with new DNA evidence. I hope there is continued investigation into this case through DNA evidence so they can pet the real perps in jail.

I really wi***** least one of them had fought this until the end. But that's just too much to ask from a person. There's only so much a human being can take.

Finally some justice for these guys. Now, do yourselves a favor and get as far away from that hillbilly state as you can. Let them continue to ride around in their sheets burning crosses.

it breaks my f**kin' heart to know they had to do this to get free. it's just freakin' politics right? it means the authorities' statistics don't look bad and perhaps it prevents the guys from claiming compensation for wrongful imprisonment cos they plead guilty.

i truly hope the rest of their lives are beautiful. xxx

Out of the box...nobody is innocent. NOBODY. Except Jesus and the religious right of his day had the government kill him for it.
Jason Baldwin had the right idea. If you really didn't do it then go dosn fighting saying, "I didn't do it!" as you die. I hope to have that kind of courage. I'd give a lot for my friends. I hope I never give them my soul. It doesn't belong to them. That's why Jesus said about a rather foolish man, "His soul." Not God's not my wife's not my children's not my dearest friend's that's because it's MY soul.

Must See Video (directly relates to this atrocity):

Michael C. Ruppert calls upon the world's artistic and musical leaders to take part in the global generational revolution taking place right now. He pulls no punches as is apparent in the title, "SAY MY F-ING NAME" ...http://goo.gl/2vFgp

This is a link to a recording of Jessie Misskelley's third confession, which he made when both of his lawyers were present and after his conviction. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agiUghBQgGw here is a link to the transcript... http://callahan.8k.com/wm3/jmfeb.html in case you want to read along while you listen. This is not the initial confession Jessie made, which is the one that has so many supporters upset. Jessie actually confessed several times, two of which were after his conviction. These post-convicition confessions are among the primary reasons some people think these guys are actually guilty. I am still on the fence, but I thought some people would like to see and hear this...

If they are innocent--glad they are free--but WTH is up with freaking celebrities getting involved? Seriously--so sick of them--their reality is FAR FAR different from most people!!
