Amy Winehouse's Dad

Ex-Husband Put Singer

On Path of Self-Destruction

Amy Winehouse
's father claims her ex-husband laid the groundwork for the singer's ultimate demise -- insisting it was Blake Fielder-Civil who first introduced her to hard drugs, like heroin.

Mitch Winehouse doesn't blame Amy's death on Blake -- who's currently serving time for a burglary and firearm offense -- but in an interview with Anderson Cooper, Mitch was pretty adamant ... if it weren't for BFC, Amy's life would NOT have spiraled out of control the way it did.

I've said it before, the people making money off her allowed her to die. She could not work, she could not produce anything. She was more use to them dead because now she's a deceased music icon and her songs are worth much more. You do the math.

No Amy put herself on the path of destruction. She is a grown woman who knew the bad effects of drugs.I'm tired of people playing the blame game. There are always going to be bad influences in everyone's life. but we have the CHOICE to take the positive side or the negative, and Amy choice to take the negative. It sad that she gone because she was a talented young women, who chose to take the wrong path.

These parents of hers are starting to remind me of Casey Anthony's parents. They always have something to say, often contradictory to things they've said before.

The biggest misconception about addicts is that it really is everyone else's fault, not the addicts fault at all. (pun intended)

We have to be accountable for out actions. We have to STOP suing fast food chains for getting fat and tobacco companies for cancer. Yeah, we can be influenced but we have to take charge of our lives.

Her ex-husband cannot be blamed for anything. She was a grown-up person and he didn't force her to drink or take drugs. She did it of her own accord. It's always easy to blame somebody else, but as long as he didn't force anything on her, he just cannot be blamed. At the time of her last drinking he wasn't even there with her, was he? He isn't responsible for anything. Some women just like bad guys. It's science. Otherwise she was a great singer and at the last peformance in Belgrade she was the most beautiful looking.
