Beyonce's Mom

Please Buy My Houston Mansion

9/22/2011 10:55 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

0922_beyonce_mom_house_launch
Beyonce's mom Tina Knowles is unloading one of her massive Houston area homes -- listing her Texas-sized, 8,885 square foot mansion for $3.499 million.

The 5 bedroom, 5 bath house was purchased by Beyonce in 2004 -- the title was then transferred to her mom.

Tina's palatial pad has a carved stone fireplace, multilevel formal living and dining room, and a 50 foot wall of floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the backyard pool.

Mama Knowles has 2 other homes in the Houston area -- a low-key ranch home, and a 4,783 square foot lakefront property.

What a tacky house. Sale all the furniture and drop the price to 1 Million. Drapes everywhere the house is just as their fashion line.

Hmmmm....that's alot of space for one Beyonce Mama to live in! That being said, I'll be happy to house sit while it's on the market! Handy too since I live in the Houston area! :)

TMZ is wrong! If you look at the title history Beyonce was never the buyer. Tina Knowles purchased in 2004. Get the facts straight!

It's a lovely home but I really wonder why she's selling it. That's a very low price so I'm pretty sure any millionaire who's looking for a decent Mansion will take it. But if she wasn't beyonce's mom and just another random rich person-probably not.

If it was in NY or LA i'd make an offer. I have zero desire to live in the lawless craphole known as Texas though.

en Todo Momento!!

you know, no matter how lovely the insides of a home are decorated and furnished, if the home itself is only a plasterd plywood model, then, eventually, the furniture inside will suc***b to mold, mildew and rot, just based on the normal decay of things (valuable commodities, for example) because plaster and plywood is not a 'long term' building material. if the home (mansion) were made of brick and stone, like in the 'olden days', precious and antique furniture can be preserved more easily. but with a plastered plywood home, even unnoticibly, weather conditions heavily affect even your most precious and most expensive home furnishing. so your great-grandchildren will have to build and buy it all new again, because it won't last.

The house is beautiful on the outside, but she needs help decorating.

plastered plywwod homes for 1., absorb waaaaaaaay too much humidity and moisture, and 2. do not release that absorbed moisture quickly enough, for it not to affect everything within the walls of the structure. sure, it's cheap in building, but clearly, does not last more than 5 years, as in 'health and comfort'. after 5 years, plastered plywood villas, mansions and so on, need to be fully torn down and rebuilt, realistically, due to rot, mold, mildew and decomposing. i'm serious.

That is one ugly house. The property looks lovely.. pool, etc. However, the facade and the interior are baffling to me. 1980s office building exterior, and the decor inside is a bizarre mixture of L.L. Bean, museum marble, Baroque style, and Federal style furnishings. What a shame.

Looks like a hotel, both inside and out. What are drapes doing in the bathrooms?

Who buys three houses in the Houston area unless they rent out two of them?

I like beige, but this is too much. Needs either some earth tones or some jewel tones to brighten up the house.
