People vs. Dr. Conrad Murray

Paramedic Testifies

We Could Have Saved MJ

9/30/2011 10:58 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Richard Senneff -- Firefighter/Paramedic #1 Testifies
Updated 9/30/11 at 8:45AM

One of the paramedics who rushed to save Michael Jackson's life at 100 N. Carolwood Drive just testified ... if Murray had called 911 immediately, Michael Jackson's life might have been saved.

Richard Senneff said Murray told him he called 911 the second he realized MJ was in distress, when in fact there was an approximate 20-minute delay.

According to Senneff, had Murray called earlier there was a good chance EMTs could have restarted Michael's heart.

Senneff also claimed Murray never mentioned Propofol while he was on the scene -- in fact, Senneff said, Murray patently denied MJ was on any medication whatsoever. Eventually, Murray claimed he had given MJ a sedative, Lorazepam.

Senneff said MJ was already dead when he arrived at the scene -- but they tried to revive him for 47 minutes to no avail. He said Murray refused to let them declare a time of death.

When he returned from the ambulance to pick up his equipment, Senneff said he saw Murray picking up "items" off the floor.

Jackson judge calls attorney's interview shocking

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The judge overseeing the trial of the doctor charged in Michael Jackson's death told the lead defense attorney Friday that he found an interview his law partner conducted on the case "shocking" and possible grounds for contempt.

Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor told attorneys he watched the interview during a break with his mouth open because attorney Matt Alford is identified as a member of Dr. Conrad Murray's defense team and criticized a key prosecution witness.

The judge noted that Alford used the pronouns "we" and "our" to describe decisions about the doctor's defense.

Alford, a partner of Murray's lead defense lawyer Ed Chernoff, was interviewed outside the courthouse by "The Today Show."

"I sat there with my mouth open" while watching the interview, Pastor said, because Alford was identified as a member of Murray's defense team, according to court transcripts. He also called the interview shocking.

Attorneys and the judge huddled in several sidebar conferences throughout the day on the issue.

Alford criticized a key prosecution witness, Alberto Alvarez, in the interview. Alvarez, a bodyguard for Jackson, testified Thursday that Murray scooped up vials of medicine and placed them in a bag before telling him to call 911.

Pastor ordered Alford to appear in his courtroom on Nov. 15 for a contempt hearing. At the end of a heated conference on the issue, Pastor said Alford was considered a witness.

That came after Chernoff told the judge to hold him in contempt and not punish Alford.

Prosecutors complained about the interview Friday morning.

The interview with Ann Curry came hours after the judge warned defense attorneys not to comment on the case out of court.

"I am serious about interviews and about commenting on the state of the evidence or on credibility or on the overall issues in the case," Pastor told the defense team Thursday afternoon, a transcript shows.

Alford is not one of the attorneys representing the doctor in court in his involuntary manslaughter case.

This paramedic contradicted just about everything the bodyguard "I just want to tell the truth" Alvarez testified to.
Alvarez said he took the IV bag off the stand. Paramedic said it was still hanging there. Alvarez said they put MJ on the floor before the paramedics got there. Paramedic said they were in the process of putting MJ on the floor.
Alvarez said Murray pulled the IV tubing out of MJ's leg before the paramedics got there. Paramedic said the IV was still in MJ's leg. Alvarez said Murray collected the vials before paramedics got there. Paramedic said vials were clearly visable to him on the table. Hmmm who do you believe the bodyguard with ties to the Jackson family or the paramedic... ? Seems to me the broke bodyguard has more to gain by saying what the Jackson family and the prosecution want him to say then anything the paramedic has to gain by lying.

Exactly. The "WTF??" of the Day 4.

(Yesterday, Kai Chase was the "WTG of Day 3.)

I don't know about Alvarez's "ties to the Jackson Family" part of his testimony... could be lieing about that too, considering.

Also, I don't buy that he's broke.... anymore then Murray is broke. Dude had on a VERY expensive suit. "Broke" like Murray is: vacations, AT THE MALL every other day, traveling to NY..> EXPENSIVE DEFENSE TEAM.

Meaning: DEFINE BROKE - yanno?

Alveraz was def respectful with the "sir" behind every response... but, something was 'edgy' about him. I get that being up there could and would make a person nervous.... but... 'edgy' is a different sort of nervous... more TENSION to it then 'case of nerves'. Finding out today that he more then likely lied in his testimony of timeline etc...? Explains then, why I got the feeling he was 'edgy' hearing this paramedic, today. Posted yesterday on the Alveraz article, that Chernoff kept harping on the saline bag and Alveraz claiming he took it down... made him demonstrate how it took it down... ASKED HIM DID HE WEAR GLOVES. Said it then... "somethings up with that"... then TODAY the paramedic destroying Alveraz's timeline pertaining to "moving MJ to the floor".. "the bag still on the IV stand"...

Anyway! Glad it's the weekend.

No matter which drugs Michael Jackson was in the habit of taking, the FACT remains that Murray seems to have grabbed the Diprivan (by the account of several witnesses) and done his best to make it disappear. That's called hiding evidence and tampering with evidence at the scene of a death. It will also become clear (from the testimony of a pharmacist) that Murray bought a lot of Diprivan (so much for the claim that he intended to wean Michael off the medication. Murray TOLD paramedics that Jackson had no underlying health problems---a direct contradiction to what Fast Eddie Chernoff now claims. Folks, it can't get much more obvious what's going on here.
