Amanda Knox

Released from Prison,

Murder Conviction OVERTURNED

An Italian appeals court has overturned the murder conviction of Amanda Knox -- and the judge has ordered her to be released from custody.

Knox burst into tears -- and was immediately rushed out of the courtroom by armed police officers.

Knox's family plans to fly her out of Italy and back into the U.S. as soon as possible.

Cheers rang out inside the courtroom when the ruling was read. Outside the courthouse, the reaction was more mixed -- with people chanting, cheering and booing.

In 2009, Knox was convicted for the 2007 slaying of her former roommate Meredith Kercher. She was also found guilty of falsely accusing her former employer of the killing. But Knox appealed the verdict ... based, in part, on new information related to the DNA evidence in the case.

While the court overturned Knox's murder conviction, it UPHELD her conviction for falsely accusing her former employer of killing Kercher. Knox was sentenced to 3 years behind bars for that crime, but since she has already spent 4 years in custody, Amanda will not serve any additional time.

The court also overturned the murder conviction of Knox's ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito -- who was also ordered to be released from custody.

What up all you emotionally illiterate, Nancy Disgrace following, irrational, rode wet, mental midgets?

Seriously folks, if you don't want to buff Amanda's beaver after 4 years in the clink, you're either as gay as Harvey, or you don't have a bisexual bone in your body!

She should be put on a plane with Gadhafi that's not allowed to land anywhere. Better yet drop her in the middle of a Libyan freedom fighter mob celebrating their independence.

Scratch that - she would probably love that.

As for the former employer of Amanda Knox, please check his political connections in Africa. They are important to Italy.

You must know that Italy was very reluctant to join the attack on Libya due to various business connections on personal level with the former president and his family.

But it doesn't stop there. The family of the barowner are important people in another country of interest for Italy, so the arrest was bad for business. That is properly why she got 3 years for the wrongly accusation which was obtained under the same stressful conditions which made them go after her in the first place.

I have only one advice. Do not enter Italy after this. Her arrest was a kind of compensation because the didn't get the servicemen involved in the Cavalese cable car disaster and because our secret service arrested a terrorist in the Abu Omar case. They were offended.

Now they had to let her go because the setup of her was too obvious. I am only asking: Who will be the next?

Surprising how many people think shoddy prosecution and highly doubtful guilt should be rewarded with long prison terms. Just like the release of the Memphis Three the freeing of these two convicts was JUSTICE at last.

The thing I find most disturbing about this trial is the fact that the ONE PERSON who skipped town the very night of the murder and confessed to the murder is the SAME PERSON who was the prosecution's star witness. Don't know about anyone else, but personally I would not trust ONE WORD that this person said after being captured as a futigive of justice. He is the ONE PERSON whose DNA is everywhere at the murder scene and the ONE PERSON who confessed to the crime and the ONE PERSON who left the country after the murder. There are plenty of criminal cases in the US that are dismissed due to shoddy police investigations and tainted DNA evidence. The burden of proof is on the prosecution and quite frankly they did a shoddy job!
