Ultimate Warrior

Wall Street Occupiers Are

iPad-Toting Hypocrites!

11/1/2011 12:30 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Ultimate WarriorWrestling legend Ultimate Warrior just called BS on the hordes of hipsters behind Occupy Wall Street -- telling TMZ, they're a bunch of poseurs, fueling the same corporate giant they're trying to take down.

In an ultra-rare appearance in full make-up, Warrior -- real name Brian Hellwig -- tells us, "I find it a little ironic that most of these kids own iPads and iPhones and all these material things. They're a big part of the consumerism that goes on in this country."

Warrior adds, "The biggest statement you can make is not to participate in the consumerism of it all. Don't buy the stuff. Start living your own life. Practice what you preach."

We never thought we'd say this, but the man's got a point.

It is Jim Hellwig. However, he is correct. For most of these protesters, they are just sheep wanting to belong to something. I'll be the wolf.

OWS doesn't even know what they themselves want. What makes the Warrior think he's got this movement figured out? All I saw when I was down there were a bunch of disparate interests that ranged from pro-communism to Native American reparations to the perils of fracking, etc. There was nothing tying them together outside of being crowded into that tiny park.
That's what ticked me off about this movement when I was there, among other things. Seemed so disorganized and all over the place. IMO if this movement really wants change to occur they need to get specific about what they want to change.

Will people ever try to learn the truth behind the movement or just listen to the lies Fox News is saying? The people are not there trying to take down corporations, they're trying to get things changed in which our government operates in relation to the corporations!! A Company like Apple, GE, Exxon should have to pay taxes just like the rest of us - however with Apple and PC makers, there is a FREE market, a competitive market. With Exxon and other oil companies, they manipulate the market to keep oil prices at record highs to give them record profits. And why would our elected officials allow this to happen? Oh that's right, big oil is in bed with EVERY SINGLE politician in Washington, contributing to every single campaign, republican, democrat or independent. LEARN THE FACTS

We are in the midst of the first ever GLOBAL protest against corporate greed and their molestation of our government. People around the world are standing together to raise their voice against the oppression of the 1% and their corporate welfare and lobbying which are eroding our economy and country from the inside out. See my artwork for the movement as well as resources and videos of the protests at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2011/09/occupywallstreet.html Get informed and get involved… all you have to do is raise your voice for change!

Bull. ****. You don't need to be Mother Theresa before you have an opinion.

No, he doesn't have a point, his comment is inane. Having computers & high tech phones means you are part of modern society - in no way does it mean you are part of the 1%. I wish.

One of the main issues is the fact that the rich had to pay 90% tax in the 60's for amounts over $100,000.00! They currently only have to pay 30% for the highest bracket. Now some are crying that they will stop working if they are forced to pay 50% (well below past levels actually a greater difference then they currently pay).
Do you feel that neither party has your concerns at heart? That's because you don't bribe (donations) them enough and they don't think you have the stones to kick them to the curb and take back the power of the people that many forget they still have!

What taking part in the capitalist society has to do with that is beyond me. No one is asking for the rich to pay taxes they didn't pay before. They are asking the government to make them pay the taxes they did pay before the rich bought the government so they could afford five escorts at one time 365 days a year.

His real name is legally Warrior not Brian Hellwig, also his former name was Jim not Brian. Good fact checking.

This totally stupid. They aren't protesting consumerism or trying to end capitalism. Idiots like this have to stop watching FOX News (who criminally hacks emails and text while GPS pinging and recording conversations of political targets). No one said we can't own phones. They are protesting BANKS that looted our economy and treasury while ripping everyone off and tanking the economy that has permanently ruined the USA and put us on the road to being a 3rd world country. ANd the big corporations have sold us all out for cheap labor abroad while benefiting from tax loopholes and corporate handouts here. The corporations whine but they are the ones who demand socialism for themselves and jail for the little people. Screw them. The revolution has begun. Stop watching Faux News.

Brian Hellwig? LMAO, his real name actually is Warrior. He changed it in the 90s. As for his given birth name it's James or Jim Hellwig. Shoddy journalism from a shoddy website.
