Led Zeppelin vs. The Who: Who'd You Rather?

I'm going to show my age now. I've seen both Led Zeppelin and The Who several times live when they were the toast of Rock and Roll. There is no comparing the two because each band always put on a great show. Roger Daltry and Robert Plant are the ultimate frontmen. Voices given to them by the angels. With their amazing and talented musicians and bandmates backing them, their bands rocked the world. Anyone who comes on here to bash them because of their advanced age only shows their own age and limited knowledge of real rock music. Listen to any one of their albums and I can say you will not only be impressed by the music and lyrics, but also you will become a convert and maybe understand what most rock fans already know. They were the best of the best back in the day.

If it weren't for Keith Moon, The Who's entire catalogue would be nothing but crappy ballads. But I'd take that over a man who loves hearing the sound of his own voice any day.

Robert Plant without a doubt. I saw Led Zep live two times in the early and mid 70's and they put on a fabulous, just musically wonderful, train wreck of a show. Especially Plant. Its something you have to see to understand. Rock and Roll at its absolute best. The best clips on You Tube are from their 1972 Sound Remains the Same concert and there are a ton of them and you could spend hours mesmerized by them.

Ok, first of all, that is totally unfair, cos both are my favorite bands and it is impossible for me to choose one or the other.I can say though that JIMMY PAGE is THE BEST guitar player ever. ROGER DALTREY is extraordinary and I like him best. There´s no comparison between Moonie and Bohnie, both are supreme, also Entwistle and Jones; and that´s f**ing it!

Damn, you can´t make me choose,both are my favorite bands. But I do can say this, JIMMY PAGE is the best guitar player ever. ROGER DALTREY is an extraordinary singer with a singular voice. Not comparisson between MOONIE and BONHIE, cos both are supreme, the same goes for ENTWISTLE and JONES. And that´s fu**ing it!
