Dr. Conrad Murray

Why I DIDN'T Call 911 Right Away

11/12/2011 4:00 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Dr. Conrad Murray says he didn't call 911 right away the morning Michael Jackson died because he is a "trained" cardiologist -- and he could do whatever paramedics could do.

Murray made that boastful statement during a strategy session, and appears in the documentary, "Michael Jackson and the Doctor: A Fatal Friendship" ... which first aired in the U.K. on Thursday night. However, this footage did not air in the U.S. version which aired Friday night on MSNBC.

Murray's delay in calling 911 was a key topic during his manslaughter trial -- but ultimately, his attorneys never put on any evidence to support the explanation Murray mentions in the documentary.

The doc goes on to say he would have quit working for MJ if he woke up that morning -- because Murray believes what happened to Jackson was the result of "his own hands."

Yeah I saw him on the Today show talking about how he was Michael Jackson's doctor since 2009 and he had no idea he was a drug addict...and that he'd be trying to slowly take MJ off that drug for the last two months of his life. How is it that he was MJ's doctor since 2009 and yet it wasn't until the last two months he tried to get him off the drug??? WTH? I just get more pissed off every time I see this guy on TV = He's got no emotions, no guilt. What a jerk!!

Talk about a delusional man!! If he was the last doctor on earth, I better take the little bit of medical knowledge I have and treat myself.

every time this guy opens his mouth it becomes more apparent that he is dumb as a post. paramedics have defibrillators, ambu bags, and ventilators which were the only things that would have save MJ, if he was a trained cardiologist he obviolsly should know that CPR alone would never never have been sucessful. MJ never had a chance because of his improper behavior, he knew he needed that equipment really continuning to lie and blame his victim to make a buck which is murray's MO is so sickening.

Okay, if Murry "could do whatever the paramedics would do" then why did we read (IF it's true!) that Murry wanted to know if anyone knew CPR??? WHY would anyone begin to perform CPR on a bed, when it must be a hard surface? And now says he would have quit working for MJ that morning-had he woken up instead of dying! Puheeze. . . .you know he was enjoying the money he was being paid. But again, even tho I feel he's guilty, so are the other doctors who were handing out the "candy" to MJ, and so is MJ himself because no one forced the drugs on him to begin with!
People in this country get outraged when laws are put in place to protect people (like the seatbelt & helmet law). Yet look at the choices that people make for themselves and then try to blame someone else when something negative happens. Ya can't have it both ways people!!!!!!!!!!!

Teh bottom line for Dr. Conrad Murray is that he used a drug in a home which was not approved for use outside of a hospital and only in exceptional cir****tances outside of an operating room.

Judge Pastor ACTS impartial, but he clearly is not. His mind was made up before the trial started. Also, there is this: ""This is not a crime involving a mistake of judgment," Pastor said. "This was a crime where the end result was the death of a human being." Uh.. excuse me Judge Pastor, the charge is Involuntary Manslaughter, indicating someone DIED. If someone jogging past Judge Pastor's house was knocked down by Judge Pastor backing out of his driveway, and subsequently died of a heart attack, that would also be involuntary manslaughter. Also, EVERY medical procedure has a risk of DEATH. Just sticking a needle in an arm can result in an embolism, blood clot, stroke. There have been cases of eye doctors doing "harmless" cataract surgery resulting in a heart attack and death. A patient might have a bad reaction to something like sulfur in a medication causing death. MJ was a lifelong basket case. Frankly it is amazing that MJ lived as long as he did! Even Dr. Murray said that the amount of meds MJ was on could put an ELEPHANT to sleep and he was trying to wean him off the medications.

Dr. Murray had no reason to phone 911, because Michael is still with us.

NAIVE DOC,
yes he is a trained cardiologist and can do more than the EMT's like do CPR on a Mattress where it does no good for a dying patient,
BUT WITHOUT THE PROPER EQUIPMENT ALL THE STUPID DOC CAN DO IS WAIVE HIS MAGIC WAND!!

Fuck Celebrities

He could do anything the paramedics could?

I wasn't aware cardiologists have an ambulance & stretcher, oxygen, cardiac monitors and defibrillators with them everywhere they go.

How very progressive.
