Mike McQueary

I'm In Protective Custody,

Double Fisting Booze

11/11/2011 3:40 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

1111-mike-mcqueary-getty-bn
Mike McQueary has reportedly informed the Penn State football players that he's currently in protective custody and "double fisting" alcohol.

According to PennLive.com, one of the PSU coaches gathered several players in a room on campus and allowed McQueary to speak to the team via speaker phone.

McQueary reportedly told the team, "I wanted to let you guys know I'm not your coach anymore. I'm done.”

McQueary also told the team he's not at the University, but in protective custody after receiving several threats ... and "double fisting" booze.

McQueary was placed on administrative leave earlier today.

McQueary -- who's married with a 2-year-old daughter -- is the man who witnessed Jerry Sandusky allegedly rape a young boy back in 2002 ... but failed to stop the attack and didn't report the crime to the police.

The bottom line is McQueary didn't call the cops because he wanted to save his job. He was thinking about himself. He didn't call the cops or stop the assault when it happened and he didn't go to the police when he realized Paterno and the Penn State people weren't going to do anything about it. He had two chances and plenty of time to think about it and he did nothing. McQueary should be making a public statement apologizing but instead he's joking with the players about getting drunk. He doesn't deserve to coach in football ever again.

How does McQ live with himself? This despicable ENABLER Iis a is a real POS.

Sandusky & the boy saw that McQ, watching the rape. Abandoning that little boy, only gave Sandusky permission to continue! After that, PSU's omerta might as well have served up little boys on golden plates to Sandusky.

McQ & the 2 (eyewitness) janitors are serious criminals. Child endangerment charges at minimum. Others were complicit in this child sodomy ring of shame. Fry 'em all.

Still can't comprehend why he is still on the pay roll, after turning the other way when an innocent defenseless boy was being Raped. This man and Penn States (giving the fact many people knew what was going on regarding the sexual assault occurring on their campus)is and will for ever be tarnished.

joparocks # 317 & 319. I have to repectfully disagree with you. Joe Paterno is just as guilty. Although he did not witness the rape he did know about it becasue Mike McQueary told him about it. Although I believe that McQueary is the lowest form of a coward and should be in jail. How any person can witness a rape of a child and walk away and not report it to authorities should be in jail. His exuse that he was only you and was afraid is no excuse. But he did report it to his supervisor JOE PATERNO who also did not report it to authorities. Paterno is as quilty as McQueary along with the president of Penn State and it was right they were fired. The cover up was done by them NOT McQueary he was nothing more in this than a coward, who should have gone police right away. Paterno ALLOWED the rapes to continue by DOING NOTHING. I wonder how Paterno would feel if someone had walked in on HIS son being raped and the very ppl who should have protected him DID NOTHING and allowed this pervert to go on and rape other children. SO NO I DON'T THINK THAT PATERNO IS A HONORABLE GENTLEMAN, Because if he was he would have done the honorable thing and reported this pervert as soon as he was told. There is also NO EXCUSE for his behaviour either. I wonder if you would feel the same about Paterno if it was YOUR son that was annally raped and he allowed the man to walk free.

McQueary, I hope you read this. What a big time loser and coward you are. You stood there and saw a little boy being RAPED by a disgusting old man. And the little boy saw you seeing him being raped. You coward!! You had a chance to be a hero and run in there and pummel Sandusky. You had a chance to call the cops immediately. But, you were selfish. You didn't want to lose you position, future opportunities w/Penn State. Suffer you loser...suffer.

Hey Mike, do us all a favor and down some Percocet with those double-fisted drinks.

That's the great thing about Japan, man. When someone disgraces their family, their employer, their profession, and basically their entire community, and does something that is morally disgusting, and indefensible? They "take care of it" themselves. Too bad Mike won't have that same samurai ethic.

He needs to be in jail, not protective custody. He should have stopped the action immediately or at least called the cops. How would he feel if it was his daughter being raped?

i would call the police if i saw a dog left in a car on a hot day, how can any human being walk away from a horrific sight of child rape and not run to the nearest police station. A normal person would be haunted with nightmares for the rest of thier lives, none of the parties involved are "normal" in anyway.

..but failed to stop the attack and didn't report the crime to the police. -This is the bottom line of the issue with McQueary. This event boils down to one adult being the attacker and the other turning his head at the time of the event....so what did this child learn? Adults are cruel (among other things). As a child advocate it IS the responsibility of ANY adult to at least try to help a child. And now this baffoon writer has an attitude about the fact this guy had to WALK AWAY from a vicious act on a child and THINK ABOUT REPORTING IT....well mr. Mcquary life is full of consequences and you made YOUR choice when you walked away instead of beating the crap out of this pig!

How can this punk call himself a man. You see a man molesting and sodomizing a child and you do nothing. There is no excuse, I can't find the words to express my disgust.
