Penn State

We're Not a Bunch of Sanduskies

11/12/2011 12:30 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Not all Penn State students are van-flipping Joe Paterno supporters -- one fan hit the game today carrying a sign that distanced the school from Jerry Sandusky and the mob mentality that overran the campus when Paterno was fired this week.

What i do find shameless and deplorable is that so many alumni and students seem to think Joe Paterno is not guilty of anything. If Mr. Paterno was a politician or your high school gym teacher? Every single alumni or student would be calling for his head on a stick.

I guess there are different rules at "Predator State University".

Once again , here's TMZ mentioning JoPa, when the signs have Sandusky's ( you know, the guy that raped the young boys) image on it. The people flipping the vans were a bunch of idiots that may have just been out there to do dumb stuff, who knows?

I'm CONVINCED that some people that are leaving comments are just saying the only name they know, the one the media is tying into the rape...Paterno. So Far , Paterno guilty of people thinking he should have done more ( going to the police with second hand hearsay, he should have encouraged the witness to go since that's really the only person who could have given CREDIBLE info, at most) even though my mind is still blown how others who knew aren't being held more accountable.

The young assistant coach DID speak DIRECTLY to some higher ups who essentially told him that
they were taking care of it. If Sandusky doesn't kill himself and this actually goes to trial this could get reeeaallly ugly.

I wonder if the football team will be punished. SMU was punished back in 1987 for recruiting violations. Sure it was not fair to innocent players and staff, but it sent a message that bad behavior would not be tolerated. Surely what happened at Penn State is a million times worse.

Those students current and former should be furious that Penn State, from the president on down, has made their diplomas worthless. Penn State covered up and supported Sandusky's pedophila, what the hell else did they allow to go on. The school has lost all cred. your education is worthless and the praying at JoPAs house just confirms how dumb you all are. Sue the school for the tuition you paid for an education based on lies. Good luck getting jobs class 2012 Penn State Grads, and thank JoPA for that.

but the rioters were not anyone else but Penn State students, right? And Sandusky was at Penn State longer than any of the newly sensitive sign carrying apologists, 30 years or so? And the list of victims grows as they play football to qualify for a bowl game

These young people are struggling with this, working through it as victims themselves.
I think the majority are doing well in processing and sorting it all.
It wont be in the time frame we prefer, as people not directly in their shoes.

There are some we saw speak on camera today that blame the media for Joe Paterno's firing, I consider all of them young fairly sheltered victims trying to sort through some difficult evil crap.
Some will never make it out the other end to the ugly truth and come to terms with that, they will always blame the wrong people.

The students doing the rioting and the students holding the candles at the candlelit vigil are the very same people. They just saw which way the wind was blowing and wanted to be seen in a good light. And, like the Occupy Wall Street movement, they just want to be part of something, anything...but want to be seen in a good light now.

I feel so bad for this student. The list of victims will just go on and on and on, all because of football and power. What the hell is wrong with college football and the people that run (profit from) it?

No...but Joepa knew about at the very least "fondling in the shower with a young boy" since the 90's and still let him keep an office there until last week so yeah..he IS PENN STATE. What a CULT you have there. Penn State would have the respect of so many if they stopped making excuses for their leader.
