Artie Lange

Baseball Is Very Good

... to Fat People

11/17/2011 4:30 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

111711_artie_lange_video

Artie Lange believes baseball might be the most fat-friendly sport on the planet ... claiming the MLB is the only place on Earth where an "enormous fat guy" like NY Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia can make $25 million a year as an athlete.

Lange was talkin' baseball in the Big Apple last night, when told us, "I'm not one to talk, but [CC] has got to stay away from the Captain Crunch cereal."

He's got a point ... but, c'mon ... Captain Crunch is delicious.

The guy has a point. Sabathia is huge for an athlete. Maybe that's why Verlander beat him for the Cy Young award.

My sister barfed up her rather significant portion of Captain Crunch cereal when we were kids. All over a white fur rug.

I feel bad for Artie, he's gonna piss this new radio opportunity away in a short while. That's what losers do.

No matter what happens in Artie's life, he will forever be immortalized for his scene in "ELF". The movie "ELF" has replaced "Christmas Vacation" as the most sought out, must see holiday movie, and has been a holiday tradition for many throughout this past decade. I wonder if Artie ever wears that Santa suit on weekends?
Good Times.
