Herman Cain

Rethinking Presidential Run

11/29/2011 9:45 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Herman Cain
Herman Cain told his staff this morning ... he's considering dropping his bid for the presidency -- this according to the National Review.

Cain made the announcement during a conference call this morning, one day after yet another female accuser -- Ginger White -- came forward ... claiming she had a 13-year relationship with the married Republican candidate.

Cain denied the allegations during the conference call, but said, "Obviously, this is cause for reassessment."

There were four other women before White, who accused Cain of sexual harassment -- but Cain said Ginger might be the straw that breaks the camel's back ... claiming, "With this latest one, we have to do an assessment as to whether or not this is going to create too much of a cloud, in some people’s minds, as to whether or not they would be able to support us going forth."

Cain admits he knows White, but had only been trying to help her out financially ... as a friend.

13 years sounds a lot more like an affair than a financial planner Hermy.

I've yet to hear this lady say it was a sexual relationship...and I've yet to hear a reporter come right out and ask her.

Friends...with benefits. Such arrogance, Mr. Cain.

He must be afraid of an even worse skeleton in his closet that he thought would never come out ... until all of these others started piling up. I guess he figures that if he continues, he'll never find another job because of all of the allegations that are drowning him.

If he has nothing to hide, then why drop out? Why not let the voters decide. I'm just sayin...maybe it's all true, maybe it's not, but dropping out of the race because of this recent woman, well, that just looks a tiny bit suspicious to me.

As if we needed further confirmation... And I don't think he was ever serious about getting elected, anyway. Good riddance. He accomplished his mission -- he sold a lot of books on his book tour ... er, I mean presidential campaign, but because of the scandal he will fail in becoming the Black Sarah Palin. When Cain inevitably drops out I'm sure he'll blame everyone and everything but himself for this embarrassing, collosal failure of a quasi-campaign.

Typical liberal, demacrats. Trying so hard to dig up dirt because they feel threatened. Clinton and other presidents were not faithful and they had scandals as well....so what's the big deal?!!!
