Ex-WWE Champ JBL

Someone Jacked My Scooter

... From a Police Station!!!

11/30/2011 1:30 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

John Bradshaw Layfield
You can't count on cops in Bermuda -- at least if you're wrestling legend JBL, who just got his motorized scooter stolen in the British overseas territory ... from right in front of a police station.

The longest reigning WWE champion in history -- who lives on the subtropical island -- tells TMZ, he left the scooter parked in the police lot at the Bermuda airport, but when he returned to scoot back home ... the bike was nowhere to be seen.

Cops are on the case -- but sadly, we're told the scooter is probably already long gone ... stripped down for parts.

Scooter owned by JBL
TMZ spoke to the champ about the unfortunate incident, and he had only this to say ... "You can't steal a wrestling god's scooter, don't you know?"

Clearly, Mr. Bermudian Scooter Jacker didn't get the memo.

He's smart when it comes to stock but couldn't figure out you need to lock up your bike when you leave it alone?

lol, now that has got to be the funniest story ever! i mean you actually LEFT YOUR SCOOTER IN THE BERMUDA POLICE STATION PARKING LOT!!! thinking that was SAFE??! damn, i really can't stop laffin! like the cops there are not working their ass off, and have to ride around on a rickety ol bicycle to 'take crime scene reports'. hey, i don't blame them for stealing and taking apart the white westerners cool, hip lil scooter. but it's funny, that he actually thought it was safe there! haaaaahaaaa!!

En Todo Momento!! is an idiot! Has he ever been to Bermuda? We are no third-world country and our Police don't ride rickety old bicycles! They ride top-of-the-line motorcycles if they're in the motorcycle division or top-of-the-line Peugeot cars-we have TONS of types of vehicles for our police so I don't know where you're getting your facts. Visit the Bermuda Police website (www.police.bm) if you don't believe it. We ARE a modern, Western country in case you don't know!

When people hear about 'scooters' they think we ride pieces of junk when we have really nice motorbikes that cost anywhere from $4,000 up. Also, while it's true that we have one car per household (unless you're a physician where your family is allowed two should the doctor be called out on an emergency) the reason is because we're only 21 sq. miles. However, many people own businesses so you can have use of company vehicles as well.

FINALLY-you'd have to see this parking lot to understand how this can happen. The Police can't see the parking lot from the station-especially the far side of it, so it would be pretty easy for someone to steal from it. Furthermore, it is only a little police substation that serves the airport and only has a few officers there at a time-mainly to respond to people bringing in drugs, to escort troublemakers off planes that divert here, etc. It's not meant to be there for much else besides that, and as I said isn't fully manned so it's easy to see how this could happen!
