Kris Humphries

Indicted Scam Artist

Jacked Me for $617K

12/8/2011 3:45 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Kris Humphries
helped federal prosecutors get a grand jury indictment against a wedding guest who ripped him off to the tune of $617,000.

Andrey C. Hicks allegedly bilked more than $2.5 million from a total of 10 investors by telling them he was pumping their cash into a billion dollar hedge fund ... that didn't exist.

According to the indictment, Hicks instead blew wads of cash on a 2011 black Range Rover, 12 luxury watches, one diamond engagement ring, two pairs of earrings, another gold ring with diamonds, one pair of silver cuff links ... and one silver men's ring.

The docs show Humphries anted up his $617 grand to the alleged scammer on April 5. Four months later Hicks was sitting right behind Kris and Kim Kardashian at the rehearsal dinner for their massive wedding.

Oh now, you guys you are the smartest people of the planet, right? Kris is a honest guy and quite naive. Nothing it's wrong with that. The opposite of kris are the Kardashians and their "friends" which they are making money with our stupidity to watch that lousy show. So, in some way we all are Kris.

This guy poses for the photo in the same phreakin position every time - with his head turned sideways. I'm beginning to think this guy is actually gay.

The case has already been resolved. The greedy sap lost $617k and it's gone. Read the fine print: Your principal may be at risk, not FDIC insured. What a moron.

What's so funny about this whole thing is that Kris actually thinks he's a smart guy. Not so much.

I think many of you folks are a tad bit silly for thinking Mr. Humphries is just a dumb jock. I'm not a fan of any of them. I do watch for the entertainment value. I'm disgusted with the Kardashian name/brand. I wasn't a fan of their dad, but at least he got an education and had a legitimate career. I do applaud Kris H. because he has worked hard for his career and appears to be a nice person who gives back to the community. And he does it without wearing a red apron and getting face time for doling out a spoonful of sweet potatos.

He's fortunate to have an income which allows him to write a check for $60...0+ thousand. '

No one deserves to be stolen from though. What's right is right and what's wrong is wrong.

Throwback kid

I hope Kris wtites a book and tells us the behind the scenes dirty on the Kardasian's store's Dash. Are these stores just fronts so the Kardashian's can launder money? These stores seem to have about 5 items of clothing in them with four employees working, how do these stores turn a profit? Considering how shady the Kardashian's are I wouldn't put anything past them

Who the f*ck needs 12 watches? If you're going to steal and blow 6hundred grand, invest in something lasting, not some dumb **** like watches and men's rings. What a loser.

I hope Kris Humphries can get his money back. There are too many of these financial planning scammers out there. I hope that people start to check with the S.E.C. before giving over any of their financial funds to anyone to manage.

Scammers will prey on the people who are honest, naive, and down to earth. They are master manipulators who can sell ice to an Eskimo.

Kris has the Midwestern values of trusting others, and this scammer preyed on that. They are like child pedophiles who groom their prey, financial scam artists will groom their prey too, try to earn a person's trust, then take advantage of them.

Financial scam artists have an odd sense of entitlement to other people's money and obsessed with the adrenaline rush of greed and risk. Like a Kardashian. Stoop to any level of immorality for that almighty dollar.
