Nicole Scherzinger

The Backstage Cry Sesh --

Caught on Tape

12/9/2011 1:15 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Rachel Crow and Nicole Scherzinger on X Factor

"X-Factor" judge Nicole Scherzinger claimed she "died inside" when she saw the look on Rachel Crow's face last night ... after the 13-year-old was eliminated -- and TMZ has obtained footage of the emotional backstage meltdown.

Nicole told producers after the show, half in denial -- "I couldn't make that decision on my own ... I didn't send her home. I adore Rachel."

Between tears, Nicole added, "When I saw Rachel's look on her face, I just died inside."

When Nicole chose not to make a decision that is reflecting on a contestant survival to a gamble that is making a decision. As far as the fallible voting system there's a reason why the judging system was implemented because the voting system is very flawed, and the great singer slip through the cracks for various reasons, off night, assumed safe because of their popularity and consistency. That's point of a second chance "save me" song which America does not get to vote on. This arena supersedes the previous voting as those in trouble sing for their survival, but that was totally negated last night. Unanimously Rachel was the better, thought people on the show have a bias, personal conflict and the judges are supposed to be fair an impartial. Nicole did send her home she had to say those words, because Rachel was better then Marcus in the "save me" song. Every judge is responsible for their decisions, and take accountability for that decision, and to not make, or make one because she had to sent Rachel home in order to give Marcus hope. What she didn't anticipate that voting tip likely 1% to his favor and would ultimately seal her fate. If you buy this wasn't a staged result.

Nicole, the fact that you didn't make the decision is the PROBLEM. You are paid to make those decisions. You must make those decisions. Allowing the home audience to vote people off makes The X-Factor and American Idol one and the same. The judges making the decision is what is unique about The X-Factor.

Is it so hard to get that through your idiotic, small-brained, moronic skull???

I don't care Nicole should have done her job, and to put it on that child shoulder is wrong. All Nicole had to do was vote. She couldn't do that. She should cry, because she didn't do her job.It sound like people want Rachel to except this, and forget Nicole didn't do her job, NO!!!

Maybe they should look at the age drop they brought in this year. Is 12 years old to young to deal with the pressure and disappointment? I think it is, as for Nicole well they should have kept Cheryl.

Truth

if im not mistaken isn't Nicole Jimmy Iovines ex- girlfriend? Maybe she got this X Factor gig to rub the salt in American Idols & Jimmy's wounds. I remember reading that Interscope Records spent a MAJOR HUGE fortune on her record and it was a MAJOR flop. Goes to show ya what sleeping with the Boss will get you.

Boo hoo. I get it. You're 13 and you lost. I would lose at that age and cry too but not in front of millions of people and throw myself on the ground and get hysterical. i just think kids these days are not used to rejection anymore because we are always so afraid of hurting their feelings. that is not life. reality is full of rejection so the sooner they are exposed to it in life the better they will deal with it later on. tired of the "everyone gets a tropy even if you are in last place" enabling attitude of adults these days. i am all for support and certificates of apprecation but come on.

I nearly threw my drink at the TV! The fact America ultimately had the deciding vote makes no difference, Canty has been awful for 3 weeks hence the reason he's been in the bottom three for 3 weeks. Rachel Crow sung him off the stage and out of the building in the sing-off and it was a spineless and pathetic attempt to sit on the fence (As she does every week, with every artist) by Scherzinger to send the vote to deadlock. She was brought in by default as a judge after Cowell buckled to pressure from the studios and sacked Cheryl Cole who would have made a far more interesting judge and now this no mark of talent sits on the panel of what should be America's biggest show like it is in the UK. For a while i've actually thought that the reason the show is suffering ratings wise in the US is not because of the format or the quality of talent but because of the poor choice of judges. Cowell's great, LA Reid's a legend. Paula Abdul however overstayed her welcome on US tv screens and ended up getting the boot from Idol and if Cowell really wants a 3rd season out of this show he'll do well to send Scherzinger home at the end of this one. A decision we wouldn't need 'deadlock' for.

I think that whole episode with the judges decidingt who should go hom was staged. When Steve went to Lj first to make his decision he should have then gone to Nichole then Paula then Simon. But, it went straight to Simon then Paula leaving Nichole to make the final decision. Come on. Do they think we are all stupid? It was staged from top to bottom by the producers. Poor Rachael was caught in the middle of all the drama. Good for ratings.
