Kardashian Family

Reportedly Use 'Slave Labor'

to Produce Kardashian Products

The Kardashians -- who make millions of bucks off of their fashion lines -- use "slave labor" and turn a blind eye to shocking working conditions ... this according to a news report.

A human rights group is investigating claims that workers in China -- as young as 16 -- are working in squalid conditions to manufacture merchandise for the K-Dash by Kardashian label, the Kris Jenner Kollection and ShoeDazzle, according to a Star Magazine investigation.

The institute for Global Labour and Human Rights confirms with TMZ ... they have launched an investigation, amidst claims the Kardashians' products are produced in factories reeking of stench from sewage, with temperatures north of 100 degrees.  An official from the organization tells TMZ, conditions in the area are "horrific."

There are also claims the employees work up to 84 hours a week, earning $1 an hour.   The Kardashians rake in approximately $65 million a year.

Kris Jenner tells TMZ ... the factories manufacture a number of products unrelated to Kardashian lines.  Jenner adds, "As far as I know the factories that are used to manufacture the Kardashian clothing and shoes have nothing terrible going on at all and the factories are very well policed and meet factory standards."   Kris says she has not visited the factories in China.

This is the problem. The rich and their lifestyles are glorified, as if they are doing all the hard work. In the meantime, people are working ten times harder than they are and are getting nearly nothing in return, yet they are both working on the same project. That is not fair. This is why American compainies should hire American seamtresses, so that they can see what is going on. They won't make as much money, but they don't need millions to live on. These other people are living on a few dollars a day. If you are going to work with others, the idea is to share the profits.

Remember the old commercials where they sang look for the union label when you are buying or selling your clothes? There used to be a label for the garment workers union in the clothes, letting you know they were made by union workers who fought for decent pay and working conditions.

The Kardashian types contract out their work to the other side of the world and take the word of the bosses for it that the workers are fairly treated. This is doubtful. You need to stop doing business with these types of places that may be employing slaves and support American workers.

Even if you pay more for American goods, or even if they aren't the latest fashion, at least you know you are supporting free people in a free country.

Them, and most clothes manufacturers. Are we supposed to be surprised that America's most shallow family doesn't give a sh*t about slave labor in China? Not even for a 2nd. These people would sell their grandchildren for another moment in front of the TV cameras!

As if anyone is surprised by this. They treat the people they KNOW horribly, why should they care about people they don't know. As long as Kim and the rest are making their "dime" they will turn a blind eye. I hope Kris Jenner's comments come back to kick her in the arse!

I love it, the Kardashian brand is imploding and the clock is ticking on their 15 minutes. Soon they will join the likes of Pari******on and Tila Tequila in the world of washed up porn stars. As Kris Humphries rises, Kim Kardashian and her family are exposed and are drifting into oblivion. Karma is a .....

I have never seen their show . . . never saw her porn video . . never seen anything they have ever done and I'm STILL sick of them! THAT is how over exposed they are. I DID see the absolutely ridiculous er 'christmas card' . . it has to be the most narcissistic, ridiculous, self absorbed BS I have ever seen. Some people (families) don't know when to go away.

Cancel the Sears and QVC campaigns! It's all crap clothing anyway which I would be embarrassed to wear. Kim looks like a whore in her tight dresses. I know the men love looking at the crack in her ass but normal people have taste and morals. I hope the evil K empire collapses.
