Kardashian Fam

Prepping to SUE Over

Bogus Slave Labor Report

12/22/2011 3:30 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

The Kardashian family is preparing for war -- gearing up to unleash a legal attack on everyone who claimed their clothing line is manufactured in child slave labor sweat shops in China ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to the family tell us ... Kris Jenner is furious -- claiming the guy who runs the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights had no right to accuse the Kardashian brands of wrongdoing because he has no tangible proof to back up his claims.

Kris must have seen I.G.L.H.R. honcho Charles Kernaghan on "TMZ Live" Wednesday -- when he flat out admitted he didn't actually go to the factories in question ... and is making the ASSUMPTION based on years of research on the Chinese manufacturing industry.

Jenner also believes Star Magazine's cover -- which screamed "Kardashian Sweatshop Scandal" -- was not only unfair ... but libelous ... and it should have to pay for any damage that has been caused to the brand's reputation.

As TMZ previously reported, Kris -- along with one of their manufacturing companies -- adamantly deny the use of child slave labor in their factories ... insisting they have people who are constantly patrolling for any possible violations.

Suing over what? Mr. Kernaghan said what he did based on an assumption of what he has seen over the years and he has a right to his opinion. If the K's have people patrolling these shops as they claim and all is on the up and up then they have nothing to worry about. So I ask again...why sue?

The viewing public should be suing them for the BS wedding.

The one good thing about the world ending in 2012 is that we won't have to read about the Kardashians any longer.

Their brand! What a laugh! Their good name? Ha!
Did Daddy help get blood drenched OJ off after he committed 2 murders?
Does getting urinated on in a sex tape help in that quest for a good name?

This is not a threat by any means. That said it's just a matter of time before somebody gets so sick of this family they decide it's time to show them what life is really like. I hope somebody hurts them like they hurt this country and young people in general. I'm so thankful I don't have kids at this point in my life because I'm not sure how to explain that not only are these people 100% fake but they are the farthest thing from being a hero that I can point too. Somebody who's not happy with their life and on the way out please do the rest of us a favor and take a Kashdasian, Bombshell or Lohan with you. (I hate this family so much I rather see TMZ go back to reporting on Tila Tequilla and I hate her.)

We ought to sue them, instead of them providing jobs in America, they give them too china and expect us to buy their over priced junk.

Damage to the brand's reputation? How can they seriously make such a claim? They have done quite enough damage to the "brand" all by themselves. Foul-mouthed, whiny, trash who capitalize on poor behavior don't get to claim an untarnished reputation.

This is very strange. There is one guy swearing up and down that he has never seen a decent factory in that part of China. Then you have Kris saying that they have people on guard to prevent abuses. If they have the one good factory, wouldn't the other places get jealous? If they are running a good factory, why don't they just run it in this country and give Americans some work?

I think the reason people manufacture in China is because the rules are lax and they can cut corners and save money. Are they going to be paying their workers much more than the neighboring factories?

Maybe they should have undercover cameras installed in the work areas to see who is working there and how they are treated. I often wonder how clothes are so cheap that they are cheaper to buy new than to try to sew yourself out of cloth. I got a shirt for $3 on sale at Kohl's the other day.

The Kardashians just want:
* to score some easy money
* have a legal victory on record so when the truth is revealed it will lessen the impact (slave labor is being used just have not been caught at it yet)
* PUBLICITY at any cost without rhyme or reason

If he was quoted as saying they are guilty of slave labor conditions, without actually seeing them, then they would win in court because that's libelous. However, the best thing the whoretrashians could do right now is prove that their factory doesn't abuse kids/workers & let it go. Going defcon one on this person will only show what litigious assh*les these whores are, and will make people hate them more... if that's even possible...

WOW this guy really f^cked this one up. This could have been the thing that takes down this family if done with care but instead he jumped the gun and IF the factory was doing these horrible things.. a few phone calls were prob made and it's all cleaned up now. Good job F*CK HEAD
