Natalie Woods Case Boat Captain Suggests Cops Could Be WITHHOLDING Info

Dennis Davern
Cops might not have been 100% honest when they said they turned up goose eggs in the Natalie Wood homicide investigation -- this according to a rep for the boat captain.

As we previously reported, the L.A. County Sheriff's Department spokesman said investigators have found nothing to lead them to believe Natalie's mysterious death in 1981 was anything but an accident.

But a rep for Capt. Dennis Davern -- named Rick Kramer -- isn't convinced ... telling us, "We don't know that there's nothing new that's been found. That would be assuming that detectives in any situation report to the public on everything they uncover."

The rep added, "What [Dennis knows] is that  for the first time ever there is a serious investigation by detectives in the homicide division into Natalie Woods' death, and that is very gratifying."

Whether the trail's gone cold or not, the LASD is keeping the case open -- at least for now.

Gee, do we see a boat captain looking to get his 15 minutes now? Someone shut this idiot up and DO NOT BUY ANY BOOK WRITTEN BY HIM!!! When you buy from people like this, you only feed the BS that they spread.

This drunk **** needs to shut the hell up. He's worthless since he was so messed up on the night she died he couldn't give any information about what happened. And the boat has been completely re-done so there is absolutely no evidence to find. Leave her family in peace and stop causing them pain just to sell your book.

Who to believe? The cops, or some drunk ex boat captain looking to make a few bucks? Let it lie...this isn't WR Hearst and Thomas Ince.

C'mon, everyone knows that Robert Wagner killed his wife Natalie Wood, they don't have enough proof and the courage to prosecute him after all this time. Poor Natalie, will she ever receive justice for her murder?

Captain Dennis Davern has what is known as a "guilty mind". I suspect that he had something to do with Natalie's death. Come clean Dennis, what did you do????????????

Dennis is the only one who is telling the truth. Wagner continues to lie. By the way, the search crew stated that Wagner was so drunk that he slurred his words. Yes, smooth, charming Robert Wagner was extremely intoxicated but people who don't know better call Dennis the drunk.
