Steven Soderbergh is one of the coolest cats in Hollywood -- as evidenced by his reaction when we asked about his action flick "Haywire" ... and the fact it tanked. You'll get 'em next time, Stevie!

Soderbergh is amazing but hasn't he been having serious mental issues the last few years?

What he should do is make even more movies about female CIA assassins. A very original concept, don't you think? If aliens tried to gauge our nation based on hollywood crap they would no doubt think we were all hit men and CIA agents. At least Carano is an actual fighter. What is really funny is when they cast someone like Angelina Jolie as some alleged bad ass when she looks like a junkie, all 95 pounds of her with her skinny little pipe cleaner arms.

Movie just felt off. Like it was a first go at it from college students. Not to knock them, but just wasnt a good showing from an acclaimed director.

Yeah, right.

You'll get 'em next time, Stevie, but good luck securing financing and a studio to release your next film school project.

Of course it bombed - his movie needed a name in the lead, and one with better acting skills. The concept has been done to death as well so if you are going to make another female assassin movie, it needs weight behind it, it needs to be unique. Even the title sounds second rate.

This guy is living in the 90s. When a movie bombs now you are supposed to say it's because of "piracy" instead of actually being a crappy movie.

I've not seen a nicer article about someone on TMZ in a long time. Is there some connection why TMZ is being so polite to this guy name Steve Soderbergh? You'll get 'em next time, Stevie!??

Haywire has made 10 million dollars in 5 days, will be more once yesterday's box office is known. It hasn't opened internationally yet. It only cost 23 million to make.

Learn the definition of what a movie bomb is. Haywire isn't a bomb.

I don;t care what any of you said.."Haywire" was a damn good film..Gina Carano kicked ass and took names..and while the plot was similar to other's I've seen, it was highly detailed and twisted. Say what you want..I liked it a lot!

I can't wait to see Haywire! Gina Carano is awesome. Regardless of her acting skills, she's a fighter which is exactly why the movie was based around her, she's a real fighter, with real skills. Its her movie debut, you can't expect Oscar-worthy acting from someone that isn't an actress. If she stays in acting, expect more later. But in all honesty, I hope she gets back to fighting. I want to see a re-match with Cyborg! GINA CARANO ROCKS!

This movie being so bad was completely his fault. Carano was good, the fighting looked real but he tries mixing in that Ocean's 11 type sequence with the cheesy jazz music in the background with no dialogue being heard even though the character's lips are moving.

The story was really weak but had potential. The pace of the movie was slow.

Soderbergh sucked with this movie, Carano was great.

The movie was very bad. Soderbergh hasn't done anything great lately either. Not surprise
