Jesus H. Christ, it sounded like Hudson was sitting on cats. Since when is screeching and warbling like a moron considered Grammy-worthy material.

This bish should stick to Happy Meals.

A great rendition Jennifer. Thank you. The entertainment world mourns the loss of a once in a lifetime talent. RIP Whitney.

It's so sad that our society has such compassion when rich drug addicts overdose, and no compassion at all when poor ones do. Just because she can sing doesn't make her a good person. She raised her daughter around drugs, domestic abuse and now we praise her?

Agreed. Jennifer did a great job. Agreed, no one sings "honors" for our dead soldiers. Agreed the haters won't be liking to agree with that. And it doesn't make it any less true. So hate away, but that's the reality. Deal with it.

It was too bad. She sounded just terrible. She is not Whitney Houston. She was too short, and she could not take a higher notes... I am glad... because no one can be the second Whitney Houston. It was the worst tribute ever. They MUST call to Mariah Carey, Toni Braxton and Celine Dion, then we could get a chance to see more emotional performance... I did not like it!!! I love you Whitney. We will always love you!!! My suggestion to Jennifer Hudson... Stop pretending be Whitney Houston!!! STOP!!!!!

That was good. She won an Oscar for a movie she did about that wanna-be Mowton, including Whitneys Aunt. You saw what the deal was around the time when those characters got large

What is wrong with you people? First of all she was emotional/upset. Second of all, she sounded amazing anyway...if she wanted to do it exactly like Whitney, she could..but I'm sure out of respect she did not. It was a tribute. You people are horrible. Just an embarrassment.

Jennifer tried, but they would of been better with Mariah Carey, Beyonce or even Christina Aquillera. Whitney hit high notes in her singing. Jennifer can't touch that. She has a deep singing voice.

There is only one Whitney. Jennifer Hudson has a powerful voice and she gave it her best because she loved Whitney, but it just wasn't the same. Hudson has a different voice, different tone. I think she did a splendid job, but it just wasn't the same.

who cares

They should have not done the prayer at the beggining as i and I am sure many others in the audience dont pray or believe in any form of god. Instead they should have just dimmed the lights let people do there own thing and play the recording of when she sang on the grammys. God is a myth and the bible is a book of fiction. the person you all call god or jesus are the same idiots that run around in the modern world that claim to be god or godly. You godly people are just as trashy as Whitney. ANd if there is a god then the woman you all are prasing just went to hell you freaking morons.

Beautiful, respectful, appropriate;..... but still, somehow lacking the magic of Whitney. No knock on Jennifer Hudson, simply an appreciation for Whitney
