Bruce Beresford-Redman

I'm Ready to Talk

... for a Price!!!

2/17/2012 11:03 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Bruce Beresford-Redman is finally ready to tell his side of the story.
Bruce Beresford-Redman -- the former "Survivor" producer accused of murdering his wife -- is finally ready to tell his side of the story ... but only if the price is right.

BBR's spokesperson has been calling various media outlets, including TMZ, in an effort to score the very first interview with the murder suspect, who's currently behind bars in Mexico.

It's unclear how much BBR is hoping to score from a tell-all.  We're not biting.

BBR's rep, Steve Jaffe, tells us Bruce needs the dough to pay for his legal defense.

Earlier this week, BBR was ordered to stand trial for allegedly killing his wife during a vacation in Cancun back in 2010.  BBR insists he is innocent.

not surprised

This is just like Casey the Killer trying to sell her story. Nothing will be said that we don't already know, and some poor fool will be out a ton of money for nothing. These people are pathetic liars so you couldn't believe a word they said anyways. It's all about the money with them, not about the truth.

It's called blood money and should never be paid to a criminal, ever. I hope he rots in jail.

Pathetic. And anyone agency who would pay it is one I will boycott. I won't even say what I wish happens to him in Mexican jail. Piece of crap.

who cares

So I am confused, if they can try the man who killed his wife on a scuba diving trip in Austrailia here in the USA then why cant the also do that with this idiot. I am worried that he isnt looking for money to pay legal expenses but looking for money to pay off Mexico government officals so he can walk a free man.

stef're 'not biting' for him but you bit on more than one occasion for Casey Anthony! Glad to see you fixed the headline of your 'SOAR throat' article. DUH.

So this fool honestly believes that someone is going to pay to hear him say he's innocent? This guy really is delusional

Snowman with a Turnip Nose

So, bribing police officers for pictures of Whitney's hotel bathroom has eaten up your budget for the month? Allegedly, of course! You could ask the Lardassians for an advance for the next five dozen fluff pieces, they're repeat customers anyway...

Killa thinks we care? Killa and Killa's lawyer are your own legal bills , Killa. No one chasing you two s*** bags or is it trash bags down for your story.

EVEN IF IT CANNOT BE USED IN COURT,(perhaps in Mexico, it can) I wonder if he is brave enough to consent to a lie detector test? His sisters-in-law should be highly commended for making sure they stay on him until he cries, "uncle!" Good Luck, girls!!!

It doesn't matter if he's innocent. In a Mexican court he has already been convicted. Here the law is, guilty until proven innocent. Here is the way a trial works in Mexico:
Accused sits behind bars in a little cell.
Judge my or may not be there to listen to the lawyers.
Witnesses will probably not be called.
Prosecutor and defense both submit their case via typed do***ents or on diskette.
Then submit that to the judge. The judge will "read" through the hundreds and hundreds of page evidence and then pass judgment. Usually they wont read it, just say he's guilty and give him 20 years, that way the authorities don't have to continue an investigation.

Sounds like Bruce needs to score a "If I Did It" book deal. Yet another lame story of "she attacked me and I lost it." At least OJ didn't dump bodies in the sewer.

There is definitely more to the story. Mexico is not a safe place to travel to. Visit to learn more. My cousin was refused medical attention and died at a 4 star resort in Cancun. My aunt is being featured on an upcoming episode of 48 hours to talk about Mr. Redman and Mexico.

I will BOYCOTT any TV network, magazine, newspaper or advertisers that pay money to Bruce Beresford-Redman for an interview.

And I will actively urge others to BOYCOTT as well.

(CBS) CANCUN, Mexico - Bruce Beresford-Redmond arrived in Cancun shortly before midnight February 8th - much to the surprise of virtually everyone - from the general in charge of security for the area, to the prosecutor of the murder case, and even his own defense attorney.
But a funny thing happened on the way to the court. The police investigator and a criminal expert the defense wanted to question were both on vacation, out of the city. As to the physical evidence the defense expected to examine, it was missing - all of it - no blood samples, no clothing, nothing. There was no plausible explanation from the prosecution. At one point the defense proposed, and the judge considered, breaking the locks where the evidence would have been held.
Days passed. Finally, on Monday Feb. 13 around 10:00 p.m., and with only 2 days left to go before the hearing would end, the prosecution finally brought in a single box of evidence. It contained a wallet, some cards, a feminine hygiene product and other small items - but none of the evidence that was used to charge Beresford-Redman.

Defense experts examined the contents of the box and determined the items to be hopelessly tainted, contaminated, some even covered in mold.

There was, however, one item of interest: Two footprints lifted from the crime scene were examined. Neither matched Beresford-Redman.
