Rihanna and Chris Brown

We're TOGETHER Again

... on 2 New Songs

2/21/2012 6:05 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Rihanna and Chris Brown have reconciled ... at least professionally.
Rihanna and Chris Brown have reconciled ... at least professionally ... because the former couple have collaborated on 2 brand new songs.

It's only been 3 years since Brown pummeled Rihanna's face during a late night argument in L.A. ... but the singer and her ex-con ex-BF have each released songs featuring the other's voice. One is a remix of Rihanna's song, "Birthday Cake" and the other is a new version of Chris Brown's, "Turn Up the Music (below)."

Both songs hit the Internet this week ... and both Rihanna and Brown have been pushing the songs on Twitter.

The songs seem to prove the rumors ... that Rihanna has forgiven Brown and is willing to move on. Earlier this week, Brown tweeted Rihanna "Happy Birthday" ... and Rihanna actually responded, "Thanks."

Rihanna is currently in London (see photo above) ... and Chris Brown was most recently seen in Miami.

As we previously reported, Brown is currently in a relationship with a woman named Karrueche Tran ... and we're told the two seem very happy together.

This sounds like trouble to me. If they started dating or hooking up again, I bet we'd be reading about a big, dramatic blowout on TMZ later on this year.

I wouldn't be surprised if we read that Rihanna and Chris Brown were drunk or high and they started beating on each other and trashing a hotel room like the guy in the Pink Floyd movie "The Wall". That was an intense scene in the movie.

Hopefully they don't get back together becaue he visciously attacked her, he has no regard for a human being and she should not forgive him

Seriously? He gets a pass? Why? He's an abuser with chronic anger issues, nothings changed. I guess she has absolutely no self esteem and no one else wants to go near here as evidenced by her inabilty to have a relationship since CB. She went from young and fresh to ...slutty, disgusting and just plain out skanky. Well done!

She is a complete joke and a fake.
To use her abuse, and the sympathy she received from her fans and from the public in general, as a way to create a buzz for sales is disgusting.
To collaborate with the pathetic retard that abused her for profit is unfathomable, and sends entirely the wrong message to girls about handling abusive relationships.
She is showing that she cares about is money, and that she cares nothing about her fans.
If her fans have an ounce of intelligence they would boycott her cds and music.
This is nothing more than a PR stunt to sell some cds.

Tina Turner needs to grab her by the back of the head and giver her some life lessons. Wonder what he dad thinks about all this? Maybe nothing, just keep sending the $$$.

What you didn't report is the pressure from Chris Brown's label on Rihanna to get her to make this happen. The industry needs a public display of forgiveness (PDoF) so that more people will buy Chris Brown's music. The people that buy music instead of just downloading it have morals, and they aren't buying a woman beaters music. So Chris's corp needs a PDoF. To me, this is a slap in Rihanna's face, and may explain some of the public anger she seems to have.

Why does this site always refer to African Americans in such a negative manner. I have yet to see individuals of your kind who have been convicted of crimes AND paid their debt to society referred to as Ex-cons.

The truth is that these two have been seeing each other for some time now and keeping it quiet because of the inevitable backlash. By releasing recordings featuring the two of them together, they're slowly easing the public into the fact that they're in a relationship again. Soon, they'll come out publicly and say they're back together, hoping no one will care.

I think it's pathetic. Rihanna, he WILL hit you again. Remember how you barely escaped with your life last time? Do you think you'll be as lucky when he pounds your face in this time?
